How many months spent playing this game?

Everytime I hear about this (and the impending rerelease of Perfect Dark – will will as I understand retain everything form its original incarnation – on XBL), I cannot help but shake my head in disappointment at those certain people who are holding up a similar resurrection of GoldenEye itself. Because of their inability to agree like civilized people on who gets what share of the licensing take, all of them are getting nothing.
This said, I believe an ideal ‘reincarnation’ of GoldenEye would be a total remake using Perfect Dark’s assets, thus incorporating that game’s many improvements. As it is, it is welcome to see that the ‘everything’ mentioned above includes the ‘inherited’ multiplayer maps and weapon set.
