Is there a difference? When I played the game I just noticed that there was a sound effect and possibly a speed-up/slow down of the same song but I’m not sure.

Yeah on the psp version when yggdra or her team mates go into battle they have their default battle music but when the go agressive their battle theme changes yes it faster but it sounds more intense and the passive theme sounds more calm.
