Thanks. Funny, I figured Across The Border 2008 would’ve sounded better. Something just seems off, but perhaps it’s me (I figured it’d sound smoother than the actual in-game version). Oh well. Now it’s only a matter of time before the gamerip appears (can’t wait for Tekkaman’s bgm. Already heard it on Youtube).

Which for the new game? The new game only has stage music, not character theme music like the ’08 version. 🙁

They removed Character Themes because of License issues, the new TvsC Ultimate Stars now has Stage Themes, complete new themes not on the JAP release =)

Wow that’s really lame. Oh well, will wait for rip too (in hopes that it won’t "gonna take me for a ride").

What I meant by Tekkaman was that it was his stage music, not his theme music. The same way there’s a Gesselshaft stage music. I already know that it’s stage music, not theme music. Still sounds good regardless.

On the same note, anyone knows where can a get a no 2-3-loopy versions for SSBB and TvC? Working links or torrents…

And it’s a real shame they removed the theme music, I really like when someone enters the stage that the music changes to his theme. That was really cool idea (but I don’t remember if TvC "originated" this because I think it was already done in MvC1).

Yes, I think I do. It was labeled as Tekkaman Blade on another site.

Just listened to "Across the Border 2008", and it’s been cut short! It’s only 1:21 long, and I could have sworn the version heard in the Japanese game (and subequently on many youtube vidoes) is over 2 mins long.

Well, this is what I downloaded, and AtB 2008 is indeed 2 minutes long. Maybe you have an incomplete file?
