Metroid Prime 2 OST [flac]

Hi, guys. 😀 Delivered as promised. A couple things first, please.

1) I don’t have the equipment to record in from my gamecube. These files are from a backup copy in case my beloved MP2 ever gets lost or dies.

2) Primeblue mentioned artifacts and noticeable sound errors when decoding audio files. I have absolute sh*t for audio equipment, and after listening over and over again I cannot find problems to fix in this MP2 rip. If you find them, please let me know so I can try to research on how to do it.

3) Tracks are VBR (so were Prime’s; I figure that means it’s normal) and I’ve resampled to 44.1kh so I can burn via burrrn for archiving. If that bugs you, sorry. Foobar2000 is here to console you.

4) Tags are incomplete, but the important data is in there. I tagged by comparing the files to the Metroid OST list at Retroxpixel.

5) Yeah, it’s split into ten files. JDownloader is great stuff. ;D If you whine enough I’ll probably change it. :p I’ll be paying attention to this thread for a while for reups, as well.

6) ENJOY IT! Heh. I also encourage you all to give something like this a shot at some point, too; it’s very easy thanks to all the geniuses who broke their backs to make it work. Huge props to the gaming community. I just used the tools they made; didn’t have to know anything.

I can’t stand that temporary error that comes up when using download it all to download it. But use the normal firefox save file, it works fine.

I downloaded it, even though I’ve never heard it or played the game before and didn’t care much for the first Metroid Prime soundtrack. I just appreciate this kind of effort. Seems there’s been a lot of it on this forum lately. Thanks.

Hope the missing pieces are re-uploaded again soon, I was so happy to find this soundtrack in FLAC.

So. Life took over, I haven’t been around at all and I’m sorry. : \ I lost all my music as well (again) so I’m in the process of downloading isos and ripping the music from that, if anybody is still interested. I suppose I can’t speak to the quality of the original rips, but yeah. I have more free time now, so I could do 1 and 3 if people want. I don’t know if there’s any demand, but I didn’t see any other threads on it, nor were they in the big lossless thread.
