ff iv advance gba…plz help with rydia

I am unable to equip Rydia with a shield in her left hand…I dont understand…will she be able to equip a hero’s shield when i get one?
Is there any shield she can wear?

Doesn’t Rydia only use whips? I’ve forgotten already, dammit.
No, i don’t think Rydia can equip shields. Just make sure Cecil takes good care of her. ^_~

And silver apples – give any and all to Rydia.

Rydia unfortunately can’t use a shield. Just keep her in the back row, and Cecil in front so that he takes the brunt of the damage. Rydia will occasionally be attacked, but as long as she’s in the back row she stands a far better chance of survival.

ok, i finally defeated brachiosaurus ( i am not sure if i spelled that correctly )
he handed my %@$ to me long ago, so i decided not to return for quite some time until I had boosted the party up, hp, mp, equip, etc
and i got my hero’s shield…and to my astonishment, rydia can equip it!!!!!!!! its the only shield she can equip as far as I know, i have her with an assassins dagger and hero’s shield, ribbon, minerva plate, and mist ring… 🙂

What the fudge?! you can’t equip Rydia with a shield or assassin dagger! Maybe it’s Edge you’re thinking of. I mean, he kinda looks like Rydia……………….. in a weird ninja kinda way….
