Hello..
My wedding will be in 13 days. My wife wants me to pick up her "Entrance" theme..
The only thing that came to my mind is "the girl who fell from sky" for Joe Heisashi from the movie Laputa.
I want the song to be from an anime or a video game. I really appreciate any suggestion you might come up with. I searched the forum for a similar thread, but the closest thread was "Epic music" and it was not much of a help.

Thank you very much for your help. Its much appreciated.

I was going to open with a joke, when I first saw this thread and post a link to Queen’s Don’t Stop Me Now.

and then I was going to suggest the Opera theme from Final Fantasy VI… but I don’t know what is OPs taste and all that good jazz~

Well, a bride’s entrance music is usually bombastic. The Girl Who Fell from the Sky, on the other hand, is pretty low-key. Is that what you were going for? If so, here are some similar things that could work…

Beyond Good and Evil – Home Sweet Home
Legend of Mana – Nostalgic Song ~ Ending Theme
Final Fantasy 8 – Breezy
Title Theme – Ragnarok Online 2
Final Fantasy X – Song of Prayer
Final Fantasy III (DS) – Town of Alm

Well, seeing as how you’ve mentioned anime, I’m going to suggest Shiro Hamaguichi’s Doro di Dea (Voices of Goddesses) from the Ah! My Goddess The Movie soundtrack (the OST CD of which was officially released in the US a number of years ago by Pioneer/Geneon).

It’s a beautiful orchestral and choral piece that really builds up to a powerful conclusion. I’ve always thought it would make a wonderful bridal theme. 🙂

Here’s a listing of my suggestions. I find this slightly ironic, considering that a friend of mine used some of the music I’d acquired in his own wedding(of notable hilarity was the use of the Chrono Cross ‘Victory’ jingle when the priest announced, "I present Mr. and Mrs. XXXXXX.") Mind you, I’m leaning more towards formal, slow songs.

Wakatte Itahazu from Fushigi Yuugi
Sore ga Ai Deshou from Full Metal Panic Fumoffu(more of an upbeat piece)
Queen Lyoness Theme from Brigandine
To Zanarkand from Final Fantasy X(surprised this wasn’t mentioned yet)
To Your Tomorrow(credits music) from Growlanser 3(a normal and instrumental version of this, make sure you at least check out the one with lyrics…they go well with the occasion)
Eternal Blue from Lunar: EBC
Into the Wilderness from Wild Arms
Any version of "Theme of a Moonlit Night" from the Suikoden series
Cuddle from Star Ocean 2
Emotional from Skies of Arcadia
Can Still See the Light(Piano Version) from Phantasy Star Online(it’s on the Songs of Ragol Collection, and is a more mellow piece)

Okay, that seems to be all I have on-hand. If you can, throw out some more guidelines of what you’re looking for. That would help us to give you more accurate suggestions.

Haha.. The don’t stop me now idea is awesome.. LOL…
I really thank all of you for your help. I am listening to the recommendations you posted.

As for guidelines to what I have in mind, when I said The girl who fell from the sky, I said it since i had no other choices in my mind. I am looking for something elegant, majestic or as someone said, Bombastic. Just post what would you choose from as an entrance and I am more than thankful..

Again, thanks a lot/

Light of Blessing ~ A Letter by Nobuo Uematsu (http://lamda.bluelaguna.net/lost-odyssey-ost-soundtrack/220%20Light%20of%20Blessing%20~%20A%20Letter.mp3)

It sounds wedding-like and has a light feel to it. It also sounds like a prelude to something. As opposed to an epic dark track.

There are also a lot of fitting songs here:

Thread 69812

i would choose the lighter ones of course.

First let me share this with you..

I edited this from Odin’s sphere main version. I really like it.
I loved most of the recommendations you posted. The star ocean fanfare and to zanarkand were really awesome.
I hope I can hear your opinion about the Odin’s piece, and I wish for more of your recommendations. Thank you a lot

I gave it a shot, but I don’t know how appropriate they’d be;

‘Queen Elincia’ – Fire Emblem: Radiant Dawn
‘Astral Observatory’ – The Legend of Zelda: Majora’s Mask Orchestrations
‘Beaming Sunlight’ – Fullmetal Alchemist
‘Fallen Leaves (Flute Version)’ – Star Ocean: Till The End of Time
‘The Heady Feeling of Freedom’ – Neon Genesis Evangelion

Don’t marry. Marriage is not worth it with current high divorce rates and corrupt family courts. At least get a prenuptial agreement.
