So before I go on with this topic, I am needing somebody with a PSN version of FF7.

I cannot get 5000 points on the roller coaster mini game to get Umbrella and would like the help of someone to accomplish this. ._.; I have attempted countless time for the past 2 days and cannot even get over 1500. ;-;

-NOTE-
Mini games are NOT for me, never have been good at them.

Ah yes, Speed Square. The bane of my existence for a good deal of time.

There is actually two tricks to this mini-game. About halfway along the course, you’ll see near the bottom of the screen a small paddle steamer with a big red paddle wheel on the back. Hit it’s rear wheel with everything you have, and keep your beam on it til it passes. Each ‘hit’ is worth 1 point, but if you keep the beam focused on it and keep firing off quick shots in rapid succession at close to full power, you will rack in hundreds, maybe thousands, of points in a second!

The second trick is similar – not long after that section there is a yellow airship – hitting it’s engine gives a fair amount of points too (the exact amount escapes me at this point). But as long as you blasted the paddle wheel, you should have gotten close to or over 4000 points before then without trying! This may take a few tries though, so don’t despair. Eventually you’ll manage to hit it.

Also it goes without saying you should destroy the big UFO at the end too for a big point bonus (hit it with short sharp bursts – try not to drain the beam’s power as you won’t do enough damage). Time is of the essence in that.

I’ll try but like I said, terrible at mini games. 😛 Thanks though for the information.
