I originally played the GBA version of this game and learned that there are GameCube, PS2, and Xbox versions. I ripped audio from the PS2 CD using MFAudio. Each track loops twice, then fades. Titles are taken from the PS2 gamedisc filenames.
I don’t know what type of music is, so let’s discover. ;p
It’s nice to see people take even the slightest interest in it.
Download link in first post updated.
… my favorite tune in the entire game, the loading screen, is not in this download. :'(
Probably because it was sequenced audio to be played while the gamedisc was busy was reading data whereas I only ripped the streaming PCM audio, so I completely overlooked it at the time. I currently have no means of acquiring the missing tune.
Eggsactly what he said!
It’s been a while… still waiting, though.
Edit: Thank you so much! 😀
Here you go.
is it lossless possible ?
Yes it is. I just wish I had the foresight to use lossless encoding back in 2009 (disk space might have been the limiting factor then).
Ripping the audio again wasn’t terribly difficult. And I found the loading screen jingle (https://youtu.be/ImERMDurWUE?t=7s) that Superjustinbros mentioned back in 2009. It was in the sound effects directory; It’s a short, mono loop that is cached and played back while data was streamed from disc.
REUPLOADED in FLAC
I’ve updated the first post with the new link.
