I know not that many people here follow anime seasons, but for those of you who do, I did an overview of the Winter 2010 Anime Season (http://themaskedndi.blogspot.com/2009/11/preview-of-winter-2010-anime-season.html). I figure we can use this thread to discuss what looks neat/talk about what we liked the same as we did for the Fall 2009 thread.

I am a huge fan of Ryukishi07, so I’m seriously psyched about Ōkamikakushi. I hope that it’s a good adaptation, especially since I’ll probably never get to play the game it’s based on. I’m definitely checking out Durarara!! too. Not sure what else. Katanagatari looks pretty and I’ve heard good things about it, but it sounds pretty generic to me.

also there’s some show about Kewpie dolls next season but I assume no one wants to see it so I didn’t mention it

Hello all, new here =D

Well I’m a HUGE anime fan^^

Winter season 2010 hm, there might be some good stuff

First of all – Dance in the Vampire Bund, I love the Manga and SHAFT always make pretty good animes.
Durarara!!!, Same novelist as Baccano! I like it, so I’m hopping that Durarara makes the same level.
Katangatari i’m going to check
Ladies vs Butlers, lol looks nice, not expecting to much
Nodame Cantible: Final, Need to see it!!!! lol
Ōkamikakushi, Like you i’m a big fan of Ryukishi07 so i’ve high hopes on this one!

And I think that’s all i’m going to follow weekly in the winter =D

Yeah, between underwear clubs and superheroes powered by breast milk, there are some pretty crazy premises this season.

Welcome, Blyzumi! Hope you stick around, I am always happy to have more people to talk to about this stuff.

Hidamari Sketch
Durarara!!
Chu-Bra!!

These all sound like a good time to me, but in the meantime I’ll be catching up on the unwatched series’ on my computer. I always check out the season previews, pick them out, and then I never get around to it ;_;;;;

The line-up doesn’t look overly impressive to me but I’ll definitely be following Nodame Cantabile Final and Katanagatari. Durarara is a maybe but I’ll probably give it a try.

So far it seems a little light, and dang pantsu overdone. No more fansurvice, to much nast not enough plot. So I suppose I will have to deal with being content with the Macross frontier movie coming out this June.

Yet you never know may be the trend will finally change, a fan can dream.

Not an impressive list, I must say. I do agree with fan service just going a bit overboard.

Loving baka to test to shokanju. It’s like one big RPG. If there were to be an rpg spin off, it would be made by Enterbrain (who is a sponsor of the show) and put on the PSP, in a style of an SRPG/maybe even Yggdra Union.
Vampire bund – the first episode didn’t seem that interesting..
Ladies VS Butlers – Fanservice with humor.
Omamori Himari seems to be pulling a Tayutama but with..100% more fanservice.
So-Ra-No-Wo-To – "K-ON at war" though it appears to have less war and more K-ON. -waits to see how it goes-
