Of course you won’t be able to play those files without doing a little research (there are plugins available), so an mp3 conversion would be more convenient.
If somebody is even able to supply the soundtest tracktitles, I am sure we will be able to come up with a proper game rip soon.
I’d appreciate it, thanks.
Are there tracktitles? If not, I can take care of that for you.
I could give the tracknames, but the problem is that I don’t know if they’re in the same order as the sound test (plus, if the rip includes the extra little jingles such as the party members joining/leaving, then I wouldn’t know where they’d be on it because they aren’t on the soundtest). I’ll start typing them out regardless though.
EDIT: Here they are in the order that they appear in the soundtest. Anything in italics are extra notes I’ve added. The "-" and "~" are part of the tracknames (the – is if a song is used multiple areas, the ~ is if the song has a subtitle). They’re pretty self-explanatory for the most part. According to the instruction booklet, the music is credited to "T’s MUSIC" as the composer.

I uploaded it without titles first >< then fixed it and was too lazy to delete the first files. In the version with titles, I wasn’t quite sure of the last five as I was short two titles, but I think I did it right. The two named "Jingle?, Jingle2?" didn’t seem to be included in the list of music although they are :44 and :45 in length. They just seemed to be extended jingles. There are five short jingles (around 5 seconds each) that I took out of the set with titles, although they are still included in the set without titles if you really want them.

I’ll download both sets and then see if I can get titles for the jingles.
Thank you for uploading though! I’ve been waiting months for this!

All 5 short jingles and the two longer ones are included.

Thank you, that really cuts back on the amount of waiting rapidshare will make me go through >.>
"Jingle?" is the Battle Won theme
"Jingle2?" is the Game Over theme
The other jingles (going by the last two spaces of the filenames) are:
3a – (I don’t recognize this one…)
3b – party member joins
3c – party member leaves
3d – resting at an inn jingle
3e – airship repair jingle (I didn’t know the little hammer noises were actually part of the song. Nice touch)
EDIT: not to knock on the effort or anything, but the track names are on the wrong songs. =| I can fix it and reupload it for anyone that’s still interested in pretagged tracks.
Sorry, not having access to the game at all and not being familiar with it, I just applied the songs in the order you gave me to the set I had.
I don’t know what happened, but here’s everything with the proper tracknames and even numbered to be in the order of the soundtest with the extra jingles following (I moved the ending theme to come after those):
Whoops. After I posted that I thought it could sound like I was attacking you for being slow. I meant a long wait since I initially posted this thread a month and a half ago.
And thank you jakob for converting and uploading the files in the first place!

Can you re-upload that? It says it’s not available anymore, and I want to download it…

I would use Mediafire, but I’m not really in the mood to split it up into smaller pieces right now. This link has the whole OST as one rar archive.

Don’t worry. I’m perfectly happy downloading the whole thing in one go. Thanks ever so much! 🙂
You’re lucky I still have this thread subscribed.

If the link expires again I’ll either re-upload or I can send it via IMs, etc.
Going with Megaupload this time. Maybe this will last longer.

Thank you, but all of these files are named incorrectly.
You must’ve downloaded the initial rip with the tracknames listed in the order of the soundtest, as opposed to the order the songs in the rip were actually arranged. I redid the tags afterwards.

All rip credits go to whoever originally did it (sorry, it’s been a long time, I’m actually surprised this thread still gets replies).
