Angela Aki did a Japanese cover for an English song. Titled, "It’s So Hard To Say Goodbye To Yesterday", by Boyz to Men II (or however you spell it…). >_>

Her version is good and she’s an actual singer. ^^

Oh yes, she sung both the Japanese and English versions for the FFXII ending theme song too, if you didn’t already know.

The female singer for both, Laura Shigihara, is also the composer of the song. The male zombie in the Japanese version is her father, if I remember correctly.

And if you’re wondering which one came first, it’s the English version.

Angela Aki usually covers English songs… She’s done Kiss from a Rose, It’s so Hard to Say Goodbye Yesterday, Still Fighting it notably. Don’t forget she sang both version of Kiss Me Goodbye (English and Japanese)
