I remember years ago, when I was still using KaZaA, I happened upon the most beautiful arrangement of Holding my Thoughts in my heart. It was one of the songs that got me into the piano, but as desperately as I searched for the sheet music, I could find none, so I ended up learning the inferior Do Re Mi arrangement from the OST book.

I don’t even know where the file might be anymore, but none of the arrangements I’ve seen on youtube are the same as this one. It was very rich with lots of rolled chords in the right hand. I remember an octave leap at a particular moment, and what characterized this particular arrangement was that instead of playing arpeggios in the last few measures, they were played as chords. I believe the opening notes were also played as chords.

Does anybody have any idea what I’m talking about? Now that it’s been a few years and I can actually play, I’d love to learn this piece.

The first reply and I’ve already found it. You, sir, are made of god and win, and I can’t thank you enough.

Just curious, how did you find it so readily? Do you happen to know the source, and if so, do sheets exist? If not, it’ll be worth the time it takes me to transcribe it, as difficult as it might be for my ears.
