Rockman.EXE/Megaman NT Warrior Anime Music Ripping Thread!

Like in the title, this is a thread where I’ll post my adventures with ripping music from two Rokkuman animus:

-Rockman.EXE AKA Megaman NT Warrior
-Ryuusei no Rockman AKA Megaman Starforce

It’s of course from japanese version. : >

They are ripped from high quality episodes, and I used a special program to get rid of sound effects and voices… kind of.

It’s just, that you can’t possible fully get rid of them. It’s even harder to do, if you do not posses DVDs from which you could rip the audio in VERY, VERY high quality. Still, believe me, I did the best I can, and I like the outcome of what I did for now.

However, the fact that >>I<< like it, doesn’t mean that you will like them.

So, I’m sorry if you (guys) don’t like this because of how they sound.

So yeah. Time to finally do this.

But first thing first, what I wrote above still stands. I’m trying various things to do these rips as high quality as I can.
On some tracks, the sfx and voices are still quite hearable. So if you dislike it, I suggest this:

A) Learn to deal with it. Like I did.

B) Fuck off.

Now, it might seem rude but that’s the truth. I don’t want to hear complaints about those things. I am aware of these problems and I will try to rip the tracks in order to avoid them. If I can’t do it, it just cannot be done.

So yeah. I hope that people can enjoy those rips again.

I use AV Music Morpher Gold.
Namely effects "Karaoke" + "Bass Boost" AND I play with an equalizer. It helps greatly.

I tried hard to get rid of the sound effects as much as it’s possible, and I played around much. This the best I can do for all the tracks, without them sounding too shitty, or not sounding like music at all.

Try to make them better. There are ways. It’s just realy hard. The sound is like it’s in water. It’s nice in a different sence. But it’s not what we’re looking for. So close! Keep trying! We’ll get it some day.

If you ever do Axess, you HAVE to get the tune when a Darkloid appears. Love that theme.

I own the DVD of the Movie.

Don’t own any of the TV Series on DVD though. I was thinking of getting them someday. Though, I do have some DVD Encodes of certain Episodes, I think you’d need the DVDs for the AC3 Audio though.

Yes, there are ways. I tried them… nope, it did not help, made them even worse actually. Without DVDrips it’s basically useless. You could get much better quality than from TVRips. Sorry. : <

If you mean those dark themes, played on organ or sumthing, then I already did them.

Yeah. AC3 Audio would be needed. It would be especially glorious, if the sound was in DD 5.1. Ehh…

Overall, I decided to give up on this. Tough, there are few things, I have "ripped" and not uploaded here. If you guys want, I will post them here.

Okay. Sorry that it took SO FUCKING LONG WITH THIS.
The reason for this hueg delay is… not nice.
Basically, I got so pissed at the fact, that there’s so much fucking sound effects and talking and shit on the music only tracks, that I just gave up at one point. However, recently I picked this up again.. and did what I could to make it as listenable as possible.

Pleasue accept my apology all of you. For the delay, and for shittiness of this rip.

Still, it’s much better quality now, and music can be heard also much more clearly now. So, maybe you guys will like it(if anybody still cares, that is).

Well, they have RAW ac3 audio (altough not 5.1), and my experience thaught me, that such audio is better to rip from than TVrip audio.

I’m also after something specific, the soundtrack of Ryuusei no Rockman 1 that plays in the 10th chapter, in the first minute (right after the main theme, the one that describes the satelites and says that Subaru can denpa henkan with War-Rock) (goes until 1:52)

My question is, ever since I noticed some improvements and fixes in animation for the DVD versions of the episodes, I’ve been dying to see the final "battle" between Slur and Forte (from episode 51 of Stream) in the glorious DVD quality.
So could you do me a favor and encode that episode early, or maybe just encode the scenes from the fight OR at least take some screenshots of it?
If you don’t want to, no problem. I can understand that, as I’m only asking.

The quality of my source isn’t so glorious ’cause I’ve the Taiwan release and on every DVD there are 10-11 episodes. But I think it’s still better than nothing… Besides, the Japanese release is too expensive for me to buy.
Anyway, I encode the episodes one after the other, so I’ll encode it as last. Parts of any episodes won’t be encoded, I just encode episodes in full length.

Oh, which episodes did you notice those improvements and fixes in animation? I’ve watched the TV-rips quite a long time ago… I’ve just watched my DVDs since I’ve watched the whole series in TV-rip quality. xD

The only one I remember right now, is that when Forte PURRAGU INS himself from Shuryou’s body into that satellite, so he can go and beat up Duo, he flies screaming like a moron and the purple stripes on his face are gone, in the tv version. Yet, on your DVDRips the purple stripes are there.
There was few more examples, I think, but this is the one that I remember the most. It was in episode 2, btw.
If I still had my tvrips, it would be better.

Anyway, I’ll try to bring out the best quality of those Taiwan DVDs. In the first 10 episodes, I used a different script at encoding than, for example, at episode 13-15. My goal is to make good quality rips and preferably, in a short time (it took for a while until the encoding of the first 10 episode finished).
But I’m glad that there is somebody who appreciates my work. 🙂

I have been looking around for months for good copies of the Background Music to Ryuusei no Rockman and Ryuusei no Rockman Tribe. All I got were the Game songs. anybody here have links to the Anime songs A.K.A the good ones?

There are no "good copies" of the songs, because the soundtrack was never released.
The only thing we have (and I have) are the rips I did, and they of terribad quality because they were obtained from tv-rips of the episodes.

Also, I have a small request. Since you mention to having ‘somewhere’ the original packs, do you perchance have that crappy rip of the EXE movie I did? I no longer have it, and I need it for certain reasons. Mostly to see/hear how muh it sucked and also to possibly use it as a certain point of reference.
Though with the audio mix of that movie, I really doubt I can do that much better.

I really love those Beast stuff. Those rips are really enjoyable.
I personally like that "ROCKMAN.EXE THE MOVIE" rip you did, first one, because I just dislike those software people use to take out the sfx and speech, and most of times the music is not music anymore and not audible at all. So I prefer to have a "drama cd" soundtrack playing.
For me, it is very enjoyable and a good music riddance.

So I have some decent to good news.
First off I found that a japanese person on twitter stitched together BGM from Axess onward using samples from various episodes and the results are quite great.

Secondly, I think this inspired me to get off my lazy ass AGAIN and try to do the same. So based on the episodes I had on hand, I did this:

The Darkloids Theme stitched together. It’s not finished yet, as in I need to hunt down some better parts (which means going through episodes bit by bit) and then then replace the sfx one with the clean ones. Plus, some volume editing so it doesn’t sound so all over the place. Regardless… yeah, progress.
