Wow, so many good tracks have already been mentioned!

One song that I really love is "Theme of Love" from the FFIV Celtic Moon album. It makes me cry every time. 🙁

Just have to add something to this thread. I agree in many aspects here. many of the songs you’ve all mentioned are truly touching, but I am surprised that no one has any chosen songs from Eternal Sonata, one of the best VGM scores ever in my opinion (by Motoi Sakuraba). If I should say some examples, I’d say;
– When we are together
– From tomorrow on
– Reflect the Sky, Bloom the Life
– White Mirror
– A Buffer for Quiet

And I also rate some other songs from other games high such as;
Breath of Fire (BoF IV Opening Animation, Truth and Dreams (BoF IV), The End and the Beginning (BoF IV), Lowest Sector Borough (BoF V), Time of Reunion (BoF V), Silver Tone (BoF V) and many more),
Baten Kaitos (Gentle Wind, Village of Abundance, The Peaceful Four Seasons I, II and III etc.),
the Xenosaga-series (World to be Born, Shion’s Feelings, Pain, Sweet Song, the Sakura songs from Xenosaga Episode II, I Love You, Sincerely, from Episode III etc.)
the Chrono series (many wonderful songs here too)
Final Fantasy music of course (so many good songs during the years. If I had to name some I’d say Aeris’ Theme (FFVII), Interrupted by Fireworks (FFVII), Ahead on our Way (FFVII), You’re not Alone (FFIX), Love will grow (FFVIII), Different World Ivalice (Final Fantasy Tactics Advance White Melodies) and Main Theme (Final Fantasy Tactics Advance White Melodies),
Suikoden music (a couple of tracks from each soundtrack really has that emotional feeling),
Vagrant Story (Remembrace, Joshua, Large Chapel Garret, Lea Monde at Dawn ~ The Vagrant Story)
and also Xenoblade – Hope, Memories, A Friendly Sentiment, Beyond the Sky etc.)

And also many vocal ending songs from games aside from the ones named here. Examples; Getsurenka (Shadow Hearts II), Within the Light (Ar Tonelico III), The Best if Yet to Come (Metal Gear Solid), Eternally Connected (Ar Tonelico II) and many more 🙂
