General Final Fantasy doesn’t allow unregistereds?

I don’t know if it is this way for everyone else, but for some reason I can only view the General Final Fantasy subforum if I’m logged on. If I’m not, then it is as if it doesn’t exist, as I can’t even see it. I was curious to hear if anyone else has this issue. And if you do, is there a reason for that? It is a little bit annoying on my end because if I want to just see if anyone has posted in reply to my posts in this subforum, I have to type in my login info, hit enter, hit proceed, etc.

Just a small thing, but an odd thing I thought I’d bring up. Also, the "remember me" option only seems to remember me for only a few hours, or else this wouldn’t be an issue.

I can view it fine before I log in (except the download links etc). I thought this was normal.

Strange. And it isn’t something wrong with my computer, as I’ve tried it on other comps and it is the same thing. Maybe I’m just cursed or something.

Would it be your browser? I use firefox if that’s any help.
Also, if you have a PS3 try it there – I can see posts there too.

I use a firefox and everything on my computer is fully updated; web browser, windows, etc. So that must not be it.

Don’t have a PS3 so I can’t use that. Why on earth would you check your email or a forum with a PS3 anyways? Use that thing for gamin’.

I wouldn’t say that, I only asked this a couple weeks ago. Plus, generally they take a while to get administrative modifications done here, or so I hear.

Actually, the General FF section has been like that for several years now – I assumed it was to try and stop non-members who were browsing the site and decided to join purely to spam the forum (general FF sections tend to be a haven for forum trolls).

Of course it won’t stop them joining either way, but it’s less of an attraction if they don’t know it’s even there. 😉

As far as having to login to the site to view that section Puddles, I don’t see what your problem is really. It barely takes a few seconds of your life to do – besides, it’s not like you can post anything if not logged in anyway. 😉

I know =). I just didn’t understand til now why it kept vanishing.
