Angel Heart Original Soundtrack (2007, Taku Iwasaki, 2CD)

Found this soundtrack randomly on Google a short while ago. After cracking the password, I gave it a listen and found out it is really damn good. Taku Iwasaki will be taking even more money from me soon.

So here you go, everyone, without a password to figure out and in the highest quality .mp3s possible.

Backstory: This is the original soundtrack of the 2005-06 anime Angel Heart, a 50-episode adaptation of a long-running assassin manga by the creator of City Hunter. Taku Iwasaki recorded this soundtrack at the same time he recorded the soundtrack for the far more famous Black Cat with virtually the same musicians, so there are many similiarities between the two OSTs. However, there are also several differences, including Taku Iwasaki’s first and only experiment with a drum & bass sound in some tracks (notably Mission Suikou).

For those who like long BGM tracks, your wish is also granted, the vast majority of the tracks are longer than 2 minutes, many over 3 (and a couple even transcending the five-minute mark!).

I only heard Iwasaki’s Angel Heart, which is a kind of late night chill mix of ambient-lounge music with some electronic elements, and i love it exactly for that reason.
