I know of a SFX version of the Firefox score, but it is so bad it is not worth the effort.
This is one of my Favourite CE films, and one that never got an office score release by Maurice Jarre before he passed on or even after.
The the advent of Blu-Ray, i was wonering if the film got a score isolated from the other sound files
Then again did FF get the Blu-Ray treatment yet.

Review
Lalo Schifrin’s own Aleph label at last completes its Dirty Harry soundtracks collection with The Dead Pool – The Original Score. This first ever soundtrack album from the fifth and final film of the Dirty Harry series is a must have for all fans of Schifrin, Harry Callahan or cop movies. In The Dead Pool (1988) once again Clint Eastwood stars as the rugged San Francisco detective, “Dirty” Harry Callahan, this time having to solve a potentially huge murder mystery involving dead celebrities. Things tighten up once Harry finds that he, too, is a target in this twisted race of murderous contention.
Compared to Dirty Harry (1971) and Magnum Force (1973), The Dead Pool can be considered one of the weakest chapters of the series – however there are some fun or almost surrealistic moments in this one that turns it into a cult movie for many fans: a Guns N’ Roses’ “Welcome to the Jungle” videoclip performed by none other than a newbie Jim Carrey; Liam Neeson bearing a weird hairdo, complete with pony tail; a fun Bullit homage when Harry is being chased by a remote-controlled toy car with a bomb strapped to it; Harry facing the bad guy not armed with his trademark 44 Magnum, but brandishing a large speargun… and for the most of these moments we have the inimitable musical signature of Lalo Schifrin, the best composer for the series.
No one does an action score like Lalo Schifrin (the Argentine maestro and musician behind the Mission Impossible theme, the Cool Hand Luke, Bullit, Enter the Dragon and Rush Hour scores, among many others), that was absent from the Dirty Harry series only in The Enforcer (1975), scored by the late Jerry Fielding. But before you start to listen to The Dead Pool soundtrack, take my friendly advice: as usual Schifrin employed jazzy, pop rhythms and synthezisers contemporary of that era, and this approach today makes the music sound dated – surprisingly the sounds and rhythms from the ’60s and ’70s aged much better. You’ll have to place yourself back into the late ’80s for truly appreciate this album, and doing so the score turns out to be something unique.
Even with only 12 tracks that runs 40 minutes in length, this score manages to capture the action and closing sentiments of the fifth and final appearance of Harry Calahan. The album opens quietly with the jazzy “San Francisco Night”, some kind of sequel for Sudden Impact’s “San Francisco After Dark”. With the synths of “Main Title” Schifrin establishes the absolute ’80s action mood – undoubtedly dated, but don’t forget my piece of advice… from this point onwards Schifrin switches between thrilling backdrops (“Kidnap and Rescue”) and heavier, almost melodramatic moments (“The Rules”). Then comes the jazzy, even romantic “Something in Return” that works perfectly inside the score. The penultimate track “Harpoon” showcases more Callahan-thrills and ’80s action writing.
As usual the soundtrack features liner notes from Nick Redman, where he comments that the final track – “The Pier, The Bridge, And The City” closes the album out with “one of the loveliest instrumental renditions of Harry Callahan’s melancholy ‘love’ theme, figuratively lowering the curtain on one of the most popular, celebrated, and beloved movie franchises in contemporary history.” I could not agree more since this track, that follows some thrilling and exciting action music, closes the series with a welcomed rendition of Harry’s theme that brings to this final chapter a necessary sense of nostalgia.
So, if you don’t expect something that would sound well placed in modern cop films, you’ll easily notice that The Dead Pool is a great (despite short) soundtrack released two decades after the movie that serves. As they say, better late than never… Thanks Lalo!

review (of the OST)
Sergio Leone and Ennio Morricone define the spaghetti western style of film and music so squarely, the competition is barely considered. It was on the backs of films such as this 1967 smash, starring a pre-Dirty Harry Clint Eastwood, that their well-known reputation rests. The CD is more than you expect. Of course, Morricone has that unique style that he and older, less Italian-influenced Western film composers made synonymous with the action from St. Louis to the Rockies, and the deserts from there to the coast. There are the clip-clop beats similar to the trot of horses, the weary harmonica trill, and the peculiar whistling, that puckered sound of aloneness that still makes one think of solitary battles against the self as much as mounted foes. But Morricone also loves rustic, romantic orchestrations that use his whole orchestra. When a trumpet hits a solo on "Theme From Fistful of Dollars," backed by chilly strings and Spanish-strummed acoustic guitars, it’s one of Byronic, beautiful, spacious solitude. Cymbals crash over a piano’s bass keys, amidst rumbling trumpets and trombones, and the thump of timpani. Flutes and violins dart as much as thrust and parry, and background voices "Ahhh" in that everyman way, along with whip-cracks. It’s all pretty prairie, rolling hills, grasslands and cattle, wagon wheels, and unshaven men with uncertain life spans. It’s so mood-setting, you expect to see cactus or bison outside your door instead of an asphalt city. It’s instrumental music that’s a veritable co-star in a motion picture, not a pack of pre-recorded hit songs all wedged into a film like large square pegs into tiny round holes. This is authentic film scoring, and it is as alluring and inviting as Leone’s movie itself. You can see it just to hear this. ~ Jack Rabid, All Music Guide
Ennio Morricone had been writing film scores for just three years when director Sergio Leone tapped him in 1964 to score a low-budget, European-produced Western remake of Kurosawa’s Yojimbo starring an American TV actor named Clint Eastwood. The film’s worldwide success would make all three men international stars. For his part, Morricone ratcheted his work (which until then had been largely pedestrian) up several notches, virtually inventing a new set of Western film-music clichs in the process. Though Leone’s film is cold and often brutal, the coloration of Morricone’s music is ironically warm and human. "Titoli" displays the whistling prowess of early Morricone collaborator Allessandro Allesandroni set against an insistent Spanish guitar riff, while other elements of what would soon become one of Morricone’s many scoring formulas fall into place: oddball percussion and bells, a Ventures-esque electric guitar, and the gruff chants of the Cantori Moderni. "Theme from ‘A Fistful of Dollars’" also displays Morricone’s magnificent writing for trumpet, his favorite instrument. The composer has said he was trying to evoke European as well as American folk influences in this work, setting primitive flutes and drums against square-dance fiddles, stately solo oboe, and trumpet alongside a plaintive harmonica–did Morricone invent world music? Though the score proper comprises just seven cues (the film’s low-budget dictum forcing the composer to opt for quality over quantity), this reissue of RCA’s original vinyl soundtrack features "A Fistful of Dollars Suite," a surprisingly successful re-edit of the score’s most important pieces. The phrase is overused, but this is truly a seminal film score. –Jerry McCulley

Hey thank you very much for the upload but I was looking for the score for the film. This is the pop album I mentioned in my original post. No score music on it.
sorry! never saw the score, I would be interested in that too.

i have actually never listened to that one myself. So, I cannot answer any questions…
Total running time: 21:57. 208mb. (48Khz 24bit)
Some tracks (robbery pt 1 and 2 in particular) consists of several short cues put together for a better listening experience.
This is in my view a strange soundtrack indeed, with little melody or overall style. Traditional "background music" is often in country-instrumentals whilst the suspense music is synths and percussion (akin to Fieldings "Escape from Alcatraz")
Still, this is Eastwood-related and should be released
