Hello. Sorry to make a request already but I’m very keen on the Sega Master System and would love some soundtracks from some of its games. I’ve searched here but can only find the odd couple. Does anyone have a collection? Thanks a llot! 🙂

I did manage to find the soundtrack for Wonderboy III: the Dragon’s Trap in .vgm format (.vgm is a sound emulation format for Master System, kind of like the well-known .psf format for PSX soundtracks), but I can’t remember exactly where I found it. It’s the only Master System OST I’ve found though. You’ll need a .vgm plugin for Winamp to play them too, which you should be able to find online easy enough.

If you’re still interested I can upload it for you. 🙂

EDIT: I seemed to have misplaced the original ZIP archive of the OST. It’s okay though, I’ll just ZIP the OST folder and files in my Music directory and send them to you. I’ll even ZIP the .vgm plugin for Winamp for you too, so you can play them easily. 🙂 I’ll post the link here when it’s uploaded.

That would be great if you don’t mind, that’s actually one of my all-time favourite games. 🙂 I’ve tried to record a few MS soundtracks myself just by playing the games on an emulator and using recording software, but I’m pretty sure this isn’t the ‘proper’ way to do it. There’s a few I’d really like such as Spellcaster, Power Strike, Fantasy Zone Series, etc, but they don’t seem to be too easy to come by. Thanks for your reply. 🙂
