favourite ff scenes

I am positive it has been done before and everyone os probly sick of saying it but im curious to find out what each of your favourite scenes would be from any ff. personally mine would be sephiroth walking through the flames in ff 7, theres a hell of a lot more so what do you think?

The Opera.

When Sephiroth killed Aerith in FF7. Sorry but I hated her. I prefer Tifa.
Seeing the fayth in Mt.Gagazet and finding out Yevon and Seymour are traitors in FF10.

Didn’t have one for FFX-2 and FFXII – I haven’t got far to the end yet.

FFIV:
Porom and Palom petrifying themselves(I never liked them anyway.)
FFV:
Hiryu on the mountain(but did Lenna have to be so RECKLESS?)
FFVI:
the opera.
FFCC ring of fates:
Tilika leaving her cloak to revive yuri(though chelinka sounded corny.)

One of my latest favourite scenes is the scene immediately after defeating the Tarutaru Ark Angel in FFXI. It’s hilarious how it shakes and shudders with a psychotic look on it’s face before exploding into a billion pieces of crystal. :p

FFVI’s opera is personally my favourite scene in the entire series though.

This thread has been done a few times, but it’s always fun to hear what’s said.

Favorite scene: FFIX

Favorite scene was Terra’s and Celes’s panties…. And Kuja.

i have to see this opera i dont remember it so i mustnt have seen it because i have a feeling i would remember it, they are the best games of all time though bar none

FFIV – You Spoony Bard + Tellah’s Death =( + Palom & Porom Petryfied + Zeromus Battle

FFVI – Cyan meets family + Edgar mocking Kefka when you’re escaping with Locke + Setzer story.

FFVII – Ending Scene + Weapon’s Awakening + Aerith’s Death + Interrupted By Fireworks+ Cloud’s Memories + Emerald Weapon VS Sister Ray

FFVIII – (though most of this game is terrible to me) The Landing & The escape From the Spider at dollet + Balamb VS Galbadia

FFXII – Prologue + The meeting with The Gran Kiltias Anastasis with the whole "meanwhile" with the Empire. + The Whole Scene with the Sun Cryst ("For Nabudis") + The whole scene with the Fortress of Bahamut. ("You know what they say about the Leading Man… He never dies")

FFT – (there are so many) Tietra’s Death, The Fight with the Cardinal Draclau, The Massacre at Riovanes Castle, The Plot of Dycedarg & the Execution of Prince Larg, The Fake Death of T.G. Cid, Ramza & Delita’s conversation at the Church… Man I could continue naming other scenes, the whole game is great to me.

FF1 – The airship rises from underneath the desert. (obviously not impressive graphically, but I liked it)

FF4 – Spoony Bard + Palom and Porom petrified

FF7 – Escape from Shinra Building (motorcycles), Aeris’ Death

FF8 – Both battles between the gardens, and when the garden takes flight

I’m glad I’m not the only one finally! Aeris annoyed me and I think it was cause I’d rather Cloud be with Tifa….plus she did stuff that urked me. Didn’t want her to die though…it was sad.

Favs are: The end of FFX where Yuna runs through Tidus…so freakin sad

FFVIII- when Squall saves Rinoa from the sorceress lock down thingy and they hold each other(hopeless romantic) and the dance at the beginning.

FFVII-same as first post..Sephiroth kicks ass.

Final Fantasy VI Opera Scene..I’d love them to remake this game on the DS, like IV. Even though I don’t really like RPGs with turn based battles and stuff, the characters were just so amazing in this game..:)

my favorite scene in all the games is when "The End" pops up on the screen.

In FFIV when Cecil faces himself atop Mt. Ordeals.

In FFVII when you see the Highwind take off for the very first time as Tifa leaps towards it to escape Shinra from atop the Mako Cannon.

FFIV – The fight between Cecil… and Cecil
FFVI – When Edgar’s castle submerges and Kefka is left ranting "Son of a submariner, they’ll pay for this!"
FFVII – When the Weapons awake and Sapphire Weapon attacks Junon, only to have it’s face blown off
FFVIII – When Balamb Garden takes flight, the fight between Balamb and Galbadia Gardens, the Ragnarok crashing into the Lunatic Pandora and the Lunar Cry.
FFXI – Fighting against the Ark Angel Tarutaru, Ark Angel Hume and Ark Angel Mithra, killing them felt so good and their animated death throes priceless. Any footage of the Mithra Cat Burglar Nanaa Mihgo and the Hume Lion. Entering Tu’Lia (Sky) for the first time.

the only reason people hate VII is because it brought alot more attention to the games, i didnt start on VII but i loved it all the same

Yeah have to agree with you on the sadness of the ending of FFX. I had figured out a lot of things in that game but I hadn’t the slightest clue Tidus was a dream *sniffs*

I wonder how you didn’t know that Tidus was a dream though at the ending. When you talk with the Fayth at Mt Gagazet they tell you all about it.
