There seems to be much to look forward to in the fall anime-wise at least. Some like Darker Than Black II & Shakugan no Shana III are pretty well known so here are the relatively unknown anime I’ve stumbled across. Feel free to post interesting stuff you are looking forward too.

Summer Wars.

Synopsis – From those who brought The Girl Who Leapt Through Time (Toki wo Kakeru Shoujo). Koiso Kenji is offered a part time job by Shinohara Natsuki and ends up being tricked into pretended to be her boyfriend at her obaa-san’s 90th birthday were her hole family is gathered.

Seiyuu – Nanami Sakuraba, Ryounosuke Kamiki, Ayumu Sait

Studio – Madhouse

Tatakau Shisho: The Book of Bantorra.

Synopsis – A library full of books that were originally dead people, the beautiful librarian & the boy who falls in love with her despite having a bomb embedded in his chest.

Seiyuu – Romi Paku, Akira Ishida, Ayako Kawasumi

Studio – David Production

Sora no Otoshimono.

Synopsis – Based on a manga (which I didn’t get through the first chapter of), this is the story a boy who meets a fallen angel who he had been dreaming about. Ecchi looking.

Seiyuu – Saori Hayami, Souichiro Hoshi, Ayahi Takagaki

Studio – AIC A.S.T.A.

Kimi ni Todoke TV
Synopsis – Kuronuma Sawako is nicknamed Sadako (from the ring) because many people think she’s scary to the point of being cursed for looking into her eyes till a classmate Kazehaya kun becomes her friend.
Studio – Production I.G
Seiyuu – not confirmed

Fairy Tail
Synopsis – Lucy joins a magic guild full of troublemakers. Do I really have to say more about this?
Seiyuu – not confirmed
Studio – A-1 Pictures Inc. & Satelight

Fairy Tail will be made into an anime? Thanks for the heads up. I didn’t know, but I’ve been keeping up with the manga. Also, there’s going to be an anime in October of Kobato (http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Kobato), a CLAMP manga. So if anyone’s a CLAMP fan they should check it out.

I’m looking forward to:
– Kampfer
– Darker Than Black II
– Maybe… Shakugan no Shana III (if they would stop doing the love triangle s—)

There are others… I’m not really interest in Fairy Tail that much. :/

I’m also looking foward to the new Shana. However, I hope they animate the rest of the novels because some real juicy things happen later.

I’m probably just going to watch Darker Than Black II. I’ll be too busy for much of anything else.

Bumping this since Fall 2009 season has started.

Only show I’ve liked so far is Nyan Koi!, but there are quite a few that have premiered that I haven’t checked out yet. Too many sequels this season, though.

darn, first episode of kimi ni todoke was abit disappointing…..

loved the sound of the premise….but it was kinda dull…

the animation quality is top notch though

I’ve seen Kobato since I last posted, and I really loved that one. I’m a Clamp nerd though.

I have the first episode of Kimi Ni Todoke on my computer, and I’ll hopefully be able to watch the first episode of Darker Than Black Season II today as well. I’ve heard that it’s great.

I don’t know of any of the new series. Got a link I can see what’s coming?

also: I saw Darker Than Black II and thought it was great. So excited about August 7.

Saw The Book of Bantorra and it was okay. Reminded me a bit of the Simoun opening so I hope it gets better. Terrible, terrible OP.

Fairy Tail is too One Piece-like so I think I’ll pass. Out of those, I’d pick Kobato, Seitokai no Ichizon and Kimi no Todoke. Haven’t watched the Book of Bantorra yet, Kampfer sounds too generic harem fanservice-y to me, and Sacred Blacksmith just blows.
