did I do something wrong?
did I do something wrong?
I’m not sure what to tell you. I zipped the folder like i always do.
People wanted Alien 3 again for Public Enemies, but they were never going to get it. This is a wonderful, brooding, introspective score that isn’t outwardly showy – but it’s glorious all the same.
Of course, from a score perspective, the album absolutely stinks – though I suspect there will be a proper score release of this at some stage.
Whatever Goldenthal writes, even if you don’t like it (as I didn’t with Alien 3 for a good few years) you KNOW you’re getting something artistically sound and intelligently conceived.
Here’s a completely serious vote for Goldenthal and the LSO for the next Trek movie!

Haha. It seems like everyone comes around to Alien 3 eventually. Not only did I love it from the start, it was one of my first scores, so it, along with Goldenthal, have a very special place in my heart.
Besides, getting Final Fantasy instead of Alien 3 ain’t that bad. My two favourite Goldenthal scores, I can’t decide which I love more!
But man, what I wouldn’t give to hear Goldenthal return to the film scoring community…
Could you re-upload, please?
Thx!
