What do you think about this idea? =]

Okay I am writing a fantasy-ish fictinal story….and it was fully inspired by a trip with my friend to an abandoned house we thought/think is haunted…and we came up with a little idea type think that whatever was haunting the house was a demon in our shadow…don’t ask we are random….

well what do you think about the idea of a story called Shadow Demons?

It would be about demons that live in human shadows when they are hungry and slowly suck away their soul. I think I would start it something like this…

They follow you everywhere, and few even know it. And slowly, you die more and more. Your sould gets sucked from your body and turned and twisted into something evil. Shadow Demons. The Invisible Killers, known otherwise. Those who do not believe, don’t even see it coming. So ask yourself this…Could you be a victim of the Shadow Demons?

Hmm…I am really not sure what you mean…

the concept is good, but ….. it won’t be brilliant. If you want to be, it is very challenging. I have seen some similar stories. They are more attractive than yours. Do your any special thought? Anyway, good try.

Try developing it more because it’s probably – already – been done. Mess around with the concept – what else can these demons do? Are they actual demons or figments of their imaginations? Which would make these "demons" not demons at all but whatever burden or guilt these people have within that’s sapping their strength away.

I say – keep asking questions and try to push the envelope. You can always mix around ideas to make it more original – more you. Also, work on the title. I usually do the title last but it’s best that you want something catchy and not generic because "Shadow Demons" sounds like the typical RPG.

So keep working on it. 🙂

My girlfriend has written three books. She’s not done with any of them, it’s a trilogy by the way, and she will not publish one until she’s finished with them all. She says that after that she’s still going to work with the stories after she’s finished.
