Hi everyone,

I don’t often post requests, but I feel compelled to get people looking for some manner of release or rip of this score.

These two composers have a distinctive and extremely sophisticated approach to scoring that blends adept composition with brilliant sound design elements, which is pretty evident if you listen to things they’ve done in the past. In any event, Prototype has been described by the composers themselves as the most serious and complex undertaking they’ve had thus far, so the opportunity to get a solid rip of this score would be brilliant for fans of their music.

There is, apparently, a release coming at some point in the unidentified future, according to an interview with them on Music4Games ( http://www.music4games.net/Features_Display.aspx?id=352 ), but until then if anyone could rip this game, I would be eternally grateful.

Thanks in advance! 🙂

Locate OrangeC’s Gamerip thread. I wouldn’t be surprised, if he will get it.

By the way, why don’t you rip it yourself?

I considered it, but — beyond the fact that I only just rented the game and so don’t own a copy — I’ve never done a rip before in my life and don’t even know if I have the equipment/software to do it. I’ve got everything I need to encode and slice up and organize a rip, but the actual acquisition of the raw audio files is something that I’m unfamiliar with.

I give music for programmers to put IN to game engines….never had to worry about getting it back OUT again. 😛

Sounds good, just wanted to make sure someone was on it; it’s quite good.

Thanks, Orange. 🙂

Oooo…I love this soundtrack. Makes the game even more epic, imo.

I said this already on a similar thread, but just in case…

several tracks, supposedly from the Prototype OST were posted onhttp://downloads.*********.com/game-soundtracks/album/prototype-pc. however, every time I’ve tried to download them I get a page telling me that the files are currently unavailable on the server. I suggest we keep our eyes on this, and in the meantime try to work on ripping the songs from the pc version of the game.

I would like to know also. I bet the pesky headerless audio is giving them as much problems as me. However, I do admit I didn’t try too hard.
