Help Beating Safer Sephiroth.

This Will sound so rearded but…
I’m Currently Trying To Beat Safer Sephiroth, and not finding it to hard. but everytine cloud get confused, and kills everyone. it;s so annoying, and with vincent having esuna, He seems to begetting killed first. im not that high level
cloud(59), Vincent(60), Cid(59). but i got past Bizzaro Sephiroth with flying colours. I’ve mastered Mosly all the materias. Any Help On this
Oh, I also don’t have any potions to heal Confuse Etc, so this dont help!

Equip Cloud with a Ribbon if you have one. If not then have the party member with the weakest physical attack, attack Cloud.

I presumed Cloud is getting confused in the aftermath of Supernova, in which case definitely equipping Ribbons to everyone (one was found in the Temple of the Ancients in disc 1, another in a secret room on Gaea’s Cliff in disc 2, but you can also morph Master Tonberries with the Morph materia in the Northern Crater at the end of the game into Ribbons too) will make you immune to the random and nasty negative status effects that this attack afflicts you with (such as Confusion, but it can also leave you with Poison, Slow, Mini, Frog, Slow Petrified, Sleep and Death Sentence).

Incidentally, Supernova CANNOT kill you directly – it does up to 92-95% damage in relation to your current HP. The negative status effects that it also afflicts you with however are what usually pick weaker parties off, so saving a Megalixir for this attack, and having Ribbons to protect yourself from the negative statuses will make this battle so much easier.

well ive had the same problem before with safer…..the first time i played ff7 i couldnt beat safer..so i had to start over and lvl up n master the materia mre…i hope u dont hav to do tht lol

Yes, you just clip his wing off and he’s dead (well, that’s how easy it felt for me).
