Upcoming Movies/Film Scores

We’ve already seen some great movie soundtracks come out this summer, however, there are plenty more to arrive this year. Here are some I’m personally excited about:

Transformers 2 – Steven Jablonsky (I think everyone is awaiting this one ;))
James Cameron’s Avatar – James Horner
Public Enemies – Elliot Goldenthal
District 9 – Clinton Shorter (I am really psyched for this one, I encourage anyone and everyone to check this movie out!)

What are some movies/film scores you are excited about?

man, i can’t wait for transformers 2, and terminator salvation!!!!

The ones Im waiting:

Transformers 2 by Steve jablonsky, Evidently!
Angels & Demosn by Hans Zimmer, (Already out and Its Fantastic!)
Terminator Salvation by Danny Elfman, (Alreafy out and Not that good) Sorry Pena…..
Star Trek by Michael Giachino, (Already out, and not that good)

I’m curious about The Fantastic Mr. Fox, because Mark Mothersbaugh (Wes Anderson’s longtime musical collaborator) is out and Alexander Desplat has taken his place. And I thought Desplat’s Syriana soundtrack was very good.

I’d also like to check out the Bruno soundtrack. I’m slightly embarrassed to say that, but some of the songs on the Borat soundtrack were great and/or so stupid they were hilarious.

And Where the Wild Things Are.
