Movies that could be tv shows

With the popularity of the Stargate tv shows, one wonders what other movies might be deserving of a tv series. While there have been some flops (i.e. Tremors), the ideas could be full of potential.

A movie that I think would be a great tv show is Cube (http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=01hUyIrubWE). I loved every single Cube movie and with the last one (Cube Zero), it branched out story wise, into the surveyors and controllers of the cube, and I think it could branch out even more. I’ve even thought about writing some Cube fan fiction.

Anyone else have any ideas?

I remember Cube! I didn’t know they made sequels…I just remember really liking the first one.

The Punisher, and I mean the Thomas Jane version of the Punisher. SO many stories to be told with that character. It deserves a show on HBO, violent, dark, and gritty.

Alien Quadrilogy – Could be sort of like ‘Stargate’ or ‘Voyager’, but with balls.

The Evil Dead/Army Of Darkness – Funny, campy, series…

Blade Runner – Before and after the movie, more than enough material.

Bloodrayne – Based more on the video game.

Princess Mononoke – Going after the movie…

Do like an origins of where the book came from, then go into more of the ‘Ballad of Ash’ or something.

I am going to be honest because I know we are all thinking it.
