I don’t say you musst buy it (neither did I say you musst buy everything), I said that if you wanted the mp3s, buying and ripping could be an option (perhaps in a bit of a non-subtle way).

Since no group has ripped it yet, I’m somewhat tempted to buy it myself since I’m a big Ippo fan. To be honest though, I don’t like the music for NC enough to want to spend money on it. Or to be more precise, I like the music, but it’s just not Ippo music…

Not to be a bitch, but could you give us a little more information about that link? What bit rate are the songs? Are the tracks labeled in English?

I just downloaded it. It’s the OST in *.wma format, no tags, at 128cbr. Track names are in english (as they are on the actual OST I believe).

I’ve alsobeen looking for that song as that song along with "to be a winner" were the tracks I was actually looking for…. The song can also be heard in episode 3 around 3:41 and episode 11 around 9:35. It seems no one else has noticed that missing track or mentioned it as this is the only place on the net I have seen someone even ask about it, let alone find any real information. It’s starting to seem like Samurai Champloo episode 11’s song "Counting Stars" all over again (also know as Affirmation by Jose Feliciano (http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=9zEOQ3VUeTo)) Only took me 2 years to find that out.

Looking for the same track myself without having any luck, you’ve got to wonder how, in my opinion, the very best track is left out of the ost.

concerning the missing track, I feel ya on that one.. seems to happen very often that these anime/videogame soundtracks are incomplete. If I ever do come across it I’ll be sure to post it here!

It’s from the Monster ost and can be heard here at 3:44min. a different version was also used on the 1upShow for a while.
