Oops. Assumed they had been. I remember "Angel’s Fear" from Secret of Mana being on ScrewAttack’s list of the greatest game songs last year.

By the way, everyone should nominate at least one song for the video game music rumble. There’s a link to it in my signature in the OP, besides it being in the Anime and VGM forum.

For title music, Metal Gear Solid 4 always stands out. The Final Fantasy games, most notable IX for title music, stood out as well IMO. Just a few off the top of my head.

It’s a crime that no one has mentioned Parasite Eve (http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=XGWa4Zm0YDA) yet. One of my friends dug it so much that she taught herself how to play it on piano.. and about a year later, they finally released sheet music. It’s an amazing piece of work.

I’d be happy to upload the soundtrack if it’s not already on here somewhere. It’s a beautiful game with some great music.
