Okay. Has anyone ever gotten SS2 (Sony Audio Format) files when ripping ps2 tracks? Cube Media Player pulls these files out of some games, and can scan them to. But all it plays is static. Has anyone found out a way to make these files playable yet?
I’m using Cube Media Player 2 Version: 2.05.0117. Is that the most recent version?
I’ll try looking for ADPCM player. I have MFAudio (I honestly don’t like it at all) and that plays static as well. Maybe its my sound output, or I have a bad copy of the game I really don’t know. But I knew these files had to be playable because the option to scan the files are on the program itself.
The games I want to rip are: MotoGP08, Bombtastic. I also wanted to do this to Forever Kingdom (I’m still looking for a good copy of this as well.) I think Hokuto No Ken comes out as SS2 too.
I’ve tried the adpcm player you suggested but still the same results. Do you think I’m missing drivers for the program or my pc?
Ok here is one of the files from motogp:

If it works for you I need to know if its a sound problem on my part, because all the other files I export and scan they work fine. Or do I need plugins for cube media player to make them playable.
Btw – where do you download CMP. I lost my version of it when my computer crashed.

If you have aim then give me your screen name. If not, then just copy and paste the name and version I posted up in my last reply on google.
