Did anyone catch the first DBKai episode that aired in Japan today? 😀
I just finished watching it thru my TVAnts program. I’m loving the new opening and ending, plus the new techno theme song. They did a really nice job with the re-dubbing of the voice overs. The new BGM is very epic and is excellent! I hope to see an official BGM CD release soon. The new HD look is super clean. It’s the same episodes from the original TV series, but you can tell they took their time to really clean them up.

From what I understand it same old stuff stuff revive but with less fillers, so if anything they be in the fights quicker

Yeah. It’s basically DBZ without the fillers, putting all of the action closer together, which is a good thing, IMO. Get straight to the battles! This means it won’t be the usual 291 episode series that we all know. There’ll probably be full (filler) episodes taken out.

I forgot where I read it from, but DBKai will supposedly stick closer to the manga and will be condensed from almost 300 episodes down to only 100 instead. As for me, I’ll probably wait till the entire series has finished airing before I watch it. (It’s just not something I feel like waiting week after week to see.)

I have to agree, Akaisagi. Kageyama is Dragon Ball’s musical mascot. The new OP & ED are still pretty good, though, in my humble opinion. The new OP reminds me alot of the original OP for DBGT, which I really liked.
