Shirley Walker was a great composer.

Much of Elfman success for Batman was thanks to her when she served as conductor of the orchestra.
If you listen the last track of this album, you can understand how she adapted the original Elfman theme to create her own theme for the animated series.

Love Batman as one of my favorite DC COMICS hero.

I got some clarification on the question of La La Land continuing to release BTAS music: apparently, Warners plans to do them in-house, as downloadables. La La won’t be able to continue releasing, and Warners will probably do them strictly mp3, but it does look as though we might get the entire series.

This is NOT A FAN RIP it’s an official soundtrack that was release last year after years of fans clamoring for one.

It’s hard to get because it was a limited edition and it’s sold out and out of print today. You may get a copy if you contact directly to lalaland records but don’t get high hopes for it, or pay on ebay at inflated prices.
There are plans to release a volume 2 with music not presented on the first album, but the production it’s on hiatus because warner wanted the album to be download only and lalaland wanted on CD.
I sure hope they release it, because Shirley Walker (RIP) has composed my favourite music related to Batman, even more than Elfman, Goldenthal, Zimmer Howard, etc.

As for Batman Beyond, there are 2 official albums, and i believe i’ve seen it posted in the forum before.

Thanks for the info. Yeah I found the Batman Beyond stuff after some more looking and have them downloaded now. I don’t know why companies are so hesitant to make this music more readily available. I would happily buy the actual albums if they were reasonably priced. With all the options there are for making music available these days it seems like they could easily find a way to get it out there and make a profit.
