The Superfriends

So I’ve been going back through old episodes of The Challenge of the Superfriends (the season with the Legion of Doom in it). This show is unbelievably terrible. Superheroes (as well as the villains) forget that they have superpowers on a regular basis, some characters cheat and get superpowers they’re not supposed to have (i.e. the Flash flying,) and the plot and fight scenes make absolutely no sense.

Thus, I reccomend searching "challenge of the superfriends" on youtube and watching a couple episodes. My personal favorites are "Invasion of the Fearians" and "The Monolith of Evil." When you’re done, discuss here.

Neither, thank god. This is the one with the Legion of Doom, you know, the guys who meet in the Darth Vader helmet in the middle of a swamp, and whose numbers include the esteemed villains Cheetah, Riddler, and Scarecrow, in addition to guys with actual powers like Bizarro, Sinestro, and Solomon Grundy (who had a Cajun accent for some reason).

Edit: Seriously though, guys, you should watch one of the episodes on youtube. They’re only about 20 minutes long.

Oh Yes, Challenge of the Superfriends.. I remember this series well. It was the part of the Superfriends saga that was hands down the best of the whole lot of them. (with the possible exception of the last version of the superfriends since it actually had Darkseid voiced by the legendary Frank Welker.) There was Lex Luthor, Brainac, (all I want is pants! a decent pair of Pants!) Cheetah, Captain Cold, Toyman, Riddler, Scarecrow, Black Manta, Giganta, Gorilla Grond, Sinestro, Bizzaro, and Solomon Grundy (Solomon Grundy want pants too!)

Note that Grundy was a take on the Voodoo style zombie, hince the Cajun accent.
