Richard Garriott’s Tabula Rasa – Never Forget the AFS

As some of you have probably heard, Tabula Rasa’s servers have shut down for the final time as NC Soft has decided to sunset the game. I had been meaning to organize the RGTR soundtrack that I had previously downloaded for a while but hadn’t gotten around to it. I’ve seen a LOT of requests for the soundtrack on the various Tabula Rasa fansites by the fans mourning the loss of their game. Well, I got back in for the final free months and logged on for the final battle against the Neph to send the game out. I got to see Earth and all of the cool stuff Destination Games had been working on.

Well, if you are looking for the COMPLETE RGTR soundtrack, THIS is it. It includes the new tracks from Earth and all of the tracks are probably labeled AND numbered. The album is available at the link below.

I tried to put the songs in a order that made sense. Whenever possible, I used names that fit the actual names from the tracks extracted from the game .glm’s. I put Valverde Stronghold at the end because I thought it was a fitting end to the soundtrack; my favorite track, slightly sad tune, but still absolutely upbeat and fitting in the RGTR theme.

Thank you to Destination Games for making an MMORPG that was NOT a carbon copy and actually took some risks. Thanks to Tracy Bush for a PHENOMENAL soundtrack. If you like soundtracks with a lot of hard guitar or techno/trance beats, give this a try.
