Gamecube game won’t work on my Wii but i d’ld the firmware update 4.0, and i heard other people were having problems with guitar hero and ssbb, worst part is even after formatting , i can’t get rid of the update, how do i get rid of the update and if that’s not the problem, what is? i load it and it works 4 times and takes me to the gamecube mode but then kicks me back to the wii menu!!! HELP!!! OH, once i’m in gamecube mode is it actually supposed to go to the wii menu? also my lens is dirty but my wii games work just fine

I dont think you can rid the updates, you may have to reformat your wii completely. Once you pop a gamecube game in, you go the disc channel and click on ‘start’, if its kicking you back to home then you have a defective wii

Nintendo is amazing about honoring their warranties. I got my graphics card replaced for free after it got fried from leaving Connect24 on. They sent me a shipping label and everything.
So, no, I don’t know how Nintendo of America is :p
