Tyler Bates composed the score. I only had the chance to play the first twenty minutes of the game. The score was great so far. Especially the love theme. As you can see by the artwork the game seems to be very much inspired by the movie 300.

I definitely support this request for the Rise of the Argonauts OST.

I have the game and it is decent. Thus the music is the best. Please I hope someone can rip or obtain OST. Thanks 😛

Hi everyone. I tho’t I replied to this thread last week, but don’t see my response anywhere.

Anyhoo, I found the OST for RotA but I feel I should warn any looking for the music that plays in the trailer (the one where Jason is looking down at his dead fiance and then turns away; there’s a montage afterward of cut scenes) that it isn’t on this soundtrack.

I’ll try to have the zip file up sometime this weekend, if I can find decent ("free", ahem) software to compress it for those who are looking specifically for the in-game music.

BTW: any1 know where I can find that music piece that plays in the trailer, I’d appreciate it 🙂

Could you tell us more about what this album is exactly?
Is a game rip? is it a promo/collector’s soundtrack ? is it an official release ?

Where did you get the tracklist from ? I googled for a few tracks and found absolutly no answer..

I think I remember seeing the Collector’s Edition at Gamestop coming with the original game soundtrack.

After a few search.. i decided to add that album to vgmdb (http://vgmdb.net/album/12706)

But it needs confirmation as i haven’t seen any real proof of it.
No scans, no tracklist..

If someone find more informations, i’d be glad.
And a photo or scan (other than the little one from "game-ost.ru") and the "ebgames" placeholder image.

I bought it from eBay. The only references I’ve been able to find are that this is the ‘promo’ OST that was sold from specific sellers (the name of the store escapes me at the moment) along with the game disc.

In my haste to get the .zip up, I forgot to scan in the cover art (the back has the track list names). I’ll try to have that up by the end of tonight. Sorry!

**Oh, i just remembered: Game Crazy. That’s where I saw the offer. They don’t have any stores down south evidently, and the website wasn’t set up for shipping like GameStop so it only showed the game/OST offer and was of absolutely no use to me lol

Oh, and btw: I also saw someone else selling the OST on eBay again, but the cover looks more like the PC version of the game instead of PS3’s. I checked the track listing, and it’s the same 33 tracks. My ‘version’ came in a small, shrink-wrapped slip cover, while the one currently on eBay has a hard plastic case like traditional CDs. I’m not sure why there’s a difference in packaging…

I’ve seen that seller on ebay before and I believe the CDs he/she sells are bootlegs. Although they appear to be decent reproductions if you look at the disc scans each CD has the exact same logos but with a different title. It looks very suspicious to me, especially for the price that’s being asked. I inquired about the Legend – Hand of God soundtrack CD that I’ve desperately be searching for as well but for the price I want the original version not a pretty replica. Most discs come with a collector’s edition or are extremely rare promo hand outs. What he’s selling appears to be reproduced knock offs. I could be wrong but it all seems very suspect. =-O

160 is low?? Well, okay…I can’t promise when I’d be able to get this done, but I’ll try to go back & do it again @ 320 (33 tracks is kinda a lot, even if they are on the short side)

Your copy looks legit but the game soundtracks the seller has on ebay look very suspect. Especially since the cd pressings all have the same logos on them with the exception of the game titles. I was only able to find an Australian version at EB games that came with the official soundtrack. The stock photo they have doesn’t look like your copy but yours looks like a real promo.

If I had to guess, game stores like Gamestop or Best Buy probably received very limited promotional soundtracks to promote the game but nothing was officially ever released. I know my Conan video game promo composed by Mike Reagan was given to Best Buy in very limited quantities. I paid $38 for it on Amazon which hurt.

Yeah, I remember paying extra for the OST-included version of Soul Calibur IV…and being SO disappointed with the soundtrack, but o well.

Also, in case no one noticed, I finally got around to uploading the 320 version of RotA. Both the 160 & 320 are in my earlier post.
