Thank you all so much for this. I had all of Gackt’s music on my old computer, aside from the newer singles, but after that computer died, I couldn’t find anything but torrents with his discography in flac. I am not a flac fan, as I can’t tell the difference and it just takes up too much memory on my computer.

I don’t think Gackt’s new single for Samurai Warriors 3, called ‘ZAN’, will come out till at least December. The release of the actual game has been delayed to the far, if i’m not mistaken.

Killa5k7, do you know whether or not the Re:Born album will be live versions of the tracks taken from his RRII concert or will it be the exact same version released as singles this year?

I’m thinking at least some of the tracks have to be different since on the track list it has the symbol ‘RR’ beside some of the tracks. I’m hoping the Jesus RR is from the live performance because i love that guitar solo at the end.

Also found out the 2 tracks on the DVD for the Dears version of the RE:BORN are just the 2 versions of the FLOWER PV. Kinda bummer considering Gackt could have included all the previously released PVs. Also, the RE:BORN is just a compilation release of all his anniversary singles. But im sure you guys already know that now.

Also, i saw somewhere on the official Gact Dears site that he is doing a theme for some OVA in 2010, and the next single would be released around 3-25-2010.

The site is in complete japanese, so the only thing i could make out was ‘OVA’ and 3-25-2010. Too bad i have to wait that long for next song. And hopefully no more Kamen Rider songs.

Look over at the top right part of the screen on that Dears site and you’ll see that you can choose the language you want 🙂

I don’t care for these Kamen Rider songs either. They seem like tide overs until he releases good stuff. Also, navigating the site in English can be tricky, it seems not to be updated as often as his native language.

yeah, the english site isn’t updated. The new Abingdon Boys School album comes out in two weeks, so that might hold me over till Gackt comes out with something new.

Also, does anyone know the release date for that american movie Gackt is supposed to be in? The movie is called ‘Bunraku’, but i can’t find any release dates for it. Its been in production since early last year, so i thought at least a trailer would be out by now. I wonder how good Gackt’s english will be in the film. lol.

From what I’ve heard the production for the film is finished, so I guess they’re putting on the finishing touches about now. I’ve also heard rumor that some parts of Europe have a release date for June 2010. I don’t know if that’s true or not, but it does give us a bit of hope that we’ll get it this year.

As for Gackt’s english…….. let’s just say I hope he speaks Japanese and they’ll sub it over. I’ve heard him speak english and he’s really not that good at it :p He doesn’t slaughter the language but his accent makes it really hard to understand what he’s saying imo.

I remember asking that almost a year ago. Got told it means the sound quality isnt LOST when ripped/made/whatever. Problem is its in some funky format that you cant normally play without having some special program. So chances are if you dont know what Lossless is, then you cant play them. Mp3 ftw…
