Anyway, there’s a big confusion with the Mirror’s Edge music. I’ve done a bit of research, I’ve sent some e-mails too, but there’s much confusion with the main theme of this game:
– At the very beginning, some people claimed that Chris Hlsbeck on his song "6000 Miles From Home" featured a similar part/melody than the audio featured on the Mirror’s Edge trailer. That song was released on 2007.
– Later, some said that the trailer audio was composed by Alcorus, and the title was "Shine". On youtube you can find it. On his MySpace, Alcorus doesn’t have the theme Shine (only has the theme Shine Part II and Part III), but has also "Alcorus – Still Alive Alcorus Mix House" which is a remix of the Mirror’s Edge trailer audio.
– Now, seems to be that an EP is coming on 11 Nov. (but there’s a Promo already running with different order on the tracks), under the name of Lisa Miskovsky. That’s the disc you’re getting into this download. On some sites with info about the 11 Nov. release (like VGMdb), the disc credits shown includes Lisa Miskovsky as performer BUT as composers: Rami Yacoub & Arnthor Birgisson.
– Finally, Solar Fields (artist name of Magnus Birgersson) claims on his site that he did the score for Mirror’s Edge. But I really don’t think he’s talking about the main theme too, just about the in game score only. On one of his score songs (you can hear it on a trailer he links on his website), there are the notes of the Still Alive song, at the very end of the music.
So… anybody has any idea?. The big confusion seems to be between the credit of the composers.. because Lisa Miskovsky seems to be just the singer, not composition at all.

Yeah…I’ve noticed this as well. I’m still awaiting some more info but just as confused due to all these names and people claiming here and there.
rj,
I have to say the remixes are god-AWFUL, but the original piece and the one with vocals are enough to make up for the lousy remixes.
Ok, I do have to say that this is a pretty interesting description of the music.
@ pietastesgood: Seems to be 11 tracks, according to the Amazon listing. (http://www.amazon.com/Still-Mirrors-Remixes-American-Version/dp/B001IA85RG/ref=sr_1_2?ie=UTF8&s=dmusic&qid=1225426558&sr=8-2)
At least we have the meat of the EP: main theme song + the long version of the remixes. That’s enough for me.
Linkin park…well…ish. Not completely. The mood is kinda alike but Mirror’s Edge is electronic/pop while Linkin park is alt, but good observation!
O.K. We can settle this now, here’s all the "remix" stuff for Mirror’s Edge. Including
the bonus tracks, 19 tracks total. I renumbered the main 12 track album to make it easier
to read (artist grouped together).Includes cover art.Rename the files to a RAR. Pass =
ffshrine Enjoy.
