o.o You have the Original Score? Not the UK score?? *whimpers* I want!!
Fucking post that shit, HybridKazuyaMishima! š
By the way, do you know this CD here? And if so, did I get the title right?
(Commandoās Recollection)
Catalog Number: KICA-17
Release: 1990-06-21

1. Burning World ~Tsuioku no Komando~ [OP]
2. Sengoku
3. Benten

my guess is itās a mini-album. Seeing as has the Opening and Ending themes, plus a few background instrumentalsā¦
Though oddly enough the CD does read "Original Soundtrack" right below track 5⦠probably like āmusic from the original soundtrackā.

Thank you for the translation, Mewsie. I shall re-tag and re-up later on today.
butā¦this cant be the complete ost. š
The one I have isā¦23 tracks. xD Iāll post it after I get the stuff on the Tenchi Thread done, I also hav esome Urusei Yatsura stuff. Near 30 or so albums. XD
are you really sure that the rare ost you say you have is the original japanese ost?
I have the british-american ost with also 23 tracks.

That would be the UK one⦠>> the one everyone seems addicted to.
The Real OST/Score the Japanese one should have music by: Kazuhiko "Kazz" Toyama.
Though is this worth checking into? http://vgmdb.net/album/1152

Thanks for the info. š
I think that guess is shared with me. š
I think it is a mini album or a single ā¦.
or some kind of image album.
and the search continues
EDIT: aiight , mews. merry christmas. its the 23 track one but Iāve seen places with the criminalās night ost. kick back.
I just want the original japanese ost :/
And it have not been released publically (ripped) yet.

If you could post this soon, it would make a really nice late Christmas present ;p
da point Iām makin involves this soundtrack. You say you have it yet you went your way and posted in this thread leading everyone on and bringing up their hopes and shit.
Your disgusting attitude of not giving it them because most people believe your "music" variation-out-of-10000000-people-who-make-remixes-is-a-piece-of-shit is just wrong. But trust me . I dont want your OST so leave that be.
But yeah, no one here is fighting. Iām simply making a point about your way of giving and then takin shit away. Either you post WITH the ost or you dont post at all. Donāt bullshit them. Thatās just another bitch move comin out of you.
You need to learn to be a bit more patient. Though if you keep ranting at her like that she wonāt offer any more of the SUPER RARE anime OSTs she has⦠this is only one of the insanely hard to get ones that she has willingly offered. Just she has other things that need to be done too.
Please try to be more considerate.
You wouldnāt like it either if you had a CD that someone wanted, but you had no time to upload; but people continued to hound you and that started telling you off just because you havenāt found time to upload it yet.
Iād really love to see more of these rare CDs here⦠and nagging one of the few people who actually own them, isnāt helping.
Why not judge for yourself what her music is like and stop listening to what others have to say. You said her Street Fighter music was better than the OC Remix stuff, so must not have thought that was garbage.
Not to mention the stuff you give here belongs to other people and you end up takin credit without mentioning names.
Most of what everyone uploads was originally posted by someone else, you hardly expect people to remember or dig to find out who the original source uploader was, do you?
you might as well not post at all if youāre gonna act like a baby. Donāt bother cominā back, homie.
I donāt think you have the right to decide who stays and goes from this forum.
My dearest apologies, Cindy.
Thatās better š
in fact⦠i always do that since iām in this forum. i have found other rare soundtracks here which some i thought there were no official releases.
I thank mewsie and cindy for the tenchi muyo post so much. š
I dont know what happen in some thread⦠but on some OUR threads there is always some dude that tries to uncredit what we do.
i dont care about those guys.
Everyone here has a big friendship or can make.
š
Just because you donāt like Tenchi doesnāt make the post āpointlessā. Some of those CDs arenāt even purchasable anymore. So she did a very nice thing to upload her collection for those who do want it⦠though because of people like you, she ended up not uping the special "Chisa Yokoyama and the Heaven Band" album that she had for Tenchi.
You have NO right to ruin it for everyone else with your whining.
If people would just let her upload things in her own time, than maybe we could see some very rare stuff here⦠because from what she told me, she owns almost everything on in my signature looking for list + a lot of those on my main list that canāt fit here.
I was merely asking her about the CD again because I hadnāt heard anything from her in a while. I was in no way asking her to hurry it up. I also didnāt realize she was being bombarded by jerks telling her her collections are junk and that she shouldnāt upload them.
ā; thanks, youāve ruined a great and wonderful forum.
i think some people can easily shut themselves from unnecessary sentences.
i did not saw it on tenchiās thread.
Itās basically urespectfull that "whining" of yours.
And, you have not ruined a great forum.
You are just marked has someone not talk to.
āāā-
Chisa Yokoyama and the Heaven Band"
yeaaahh uhā¦. I dontā¦care about that. But hey, this sort of relates to this topic , right? Sheāll "have it" but then time passes by you.. lol yeah.. get over it and look for it if you want it that badly.
Morrigan ā Thatās good. Thanks for knowing that I didnāt ruin a thread and not a forum.
Iām not mad that sheās not uploading it. Iām more upset that people are being rude to her because they donāt get it fast enough or only what they want.
As I stated before, most of those Tenchi CDs arenāt purchasable anymore. What do you suggest I do? Hunt down someone who owns a copy and rob them?

No. you would just sit back and wait patiently for someone else to upload it, mews. Didnāt we just established that moments ago ? I believe that people like her have reason to not give it up. And thatās basically cause no one really tried to look for it themselves and they tend to lean on them for all the stuff. Itās only natural and snotty at the same time.

Well I wish I at least knew the catalog number for this one⦠I canāt find hide nor hair of it. It may be purchasable⦠I really donāt know. Iāve tried looking up so many things to try to fish itās whereabouts out, with no luck. I canāt even say how long I have been after this CD. If I had the money Iād go to Japan and check all the shops and possible garage/yard sales (do they do that over there?) and see if I have any luck. But right now all I have been able to find is a few people listing the same CD ShmupFighter has been nice enough to offer up. No signs of anyone selling it⦠so I am very greatful to him/her for this album too.
Well hopefully Iāll be into some more money soon and Iāll be able to get a few more rare CDs, including the Ellica OST and single Morrigan has been asking me to try to track down.
The only reason it takes me so long is because I first must find a seller, than shuffle enough cash away to buy it. Import charges are murder if the price is high. And some rare CDs do go for an arm and a leg⦠Iāve seen some Jungle Emperor and older Galaxy Express ones going for $100 per CD! So⦠things like those are a bit out of my reaching rangeā¦
Anyways, sorry for nagging you. I just have been having a bad week. And took things the wrong way.

Other Kazuhiko "Kazz" Toyama albums thatād be worth gettingā¦
Doomed Megalopolis OST
Wicked City OST
Darkside Blues OST (I have this one⦠Iāll check to see if itās a DVD rip or not tomorrow).
A Wind Named Amnesia OST (might be interesting to get).
Tekken: the Motion Picture OST (have this one too, and I know itās not a DVD so it must have come from a CD)⦠I think I got it from a torrent⦠but I canāt remember where.

Places checked: Amazon.jp (sold out), barks.jp (sold out), a-too.co.jp (couldnāt figure out if they were selling or just listing itās original sales price), interq.or.jp (might be selling⦠it seemed questionable (didnāt give any links or people to contact to purchase)), auctions.hanamoku.jp (sold out),
No other shops turned up in the search⦠more likely they never had the CD or it sold out before the store made a webbie.
Game soundtrack if anyone is interested (info at least): http://vgmdb.net/album/1152
There is a special DVD Box for the anime⦠itās possible it contains a CD (possibly even the OST) for the anime⦠GNBA-3027 But itās a long shot without definitive proof.

And thanks again for this CD. :3 Weād be lost without any of the original Japanese music if not for you!~
Can you believe I found this CD at a local Rasputin for $5.00? Iām glad I bought it, not just for realising itās "uncommon-ness", but also for the awesome music it possesses. This guy "Kazz" was very talented. Does anyone know of any other good albums/soundtracks that he worked on?

Edit: I wonder if he did the music for Demon City Shinjuku too.

was there a limited copie sales for his osts?

I donāt know⦠but hereās an excellent deal on A Wind Named Amnesia http://www.jpophelp.com/scripts/newsite/proddetails.asp?listid=JPN-USD-WPCL-217&showname=1
it seems this is really the ova ost. this upload by jalvarez82.
Ichecked this:
Criminalās Night: music from CYBER CITY OEDO 808
http://vgmdb.net/album/1152
and its the pc engine game soundtrack. The track titles are consistent with the story of the ova.
I heard it from youtube: http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=31aI_qiiryM
And i thought it was a bit like Dragon ball Z Gaiden. It started to a game with a lot of animated videos (ANIME) and then released later on VHS as OVAā¦
I cant believe this is the ost.
Just 4 musics? 0.o
The released date of "KICA-1009" is 1990/10/21 .
And the real OST "KICA-17" is 1990/06/21 .
But the OVA vol.1 is 1990/06 , vol.2 1990/12 , vol.3 1991/10 .
The PC Engine game is 1991/03/15 .
All the date come from Japan Wikipedia.
We consinder that the OVA series made great reaction,
so the producer or corporation decided to publish that game and album.
The OST uploaded by jalvarez82 is the only one about OVA.
Althought it only OP, ED songs and 3 BGM musics.
now iām confused, so the ost for the game came out 1year early?
very confusingā¦
xD Yus. I got the Score! The Original score! xD In its Rarity.
Difference is. Mine has moreee tracks than that. XD So I got tons of rare OSTās now.
The one I have isā¦23 tracks. xD Iāll post it after I get the stuff on the Tenchi Thread done, I also hav esome Urusei Yatsura stuff. Near 30 or so albums. XD
Still really wants this. š
But weāre sure the KICA-17 is the only one OVA OST.
So now Mewsie wants the 14 tracks of KICA-1009,
not the 23 tracks of UK version, right?
We donāt have it, but still trying.

Sure⦠thatād the interesting. But Cindy seems to somehow have her hands on the 23 track Japanese Score.
Not the UK one⦠but I donāt know if sheās willing to up it anymore after the whole issue with the Tenchi thread.
I have started a discussion on vgmdb about the strange release date.
I donāt see why and how could it be possible to compose the music for a game 1 year before this same game is published..?

Often music is started long before the project is⦠though the game could have easily been half way through the making and the music just got finished first.
There are quite a lot of possibilities. Though itād be more properly considered an Image Album if it were from an Anime, instead of a game⦠at least I donāt think they still count as such from games.
Just as people here seem to get their hands unto OSTs from movies before they even go the theater⦠itās almost the same concept.
Release date for that album have been fixed, itās October 90 (and not May), that make it more plausible.
Iād say itās confirmed to be the soundtrack for the game.
Like many, i am interested to hear that album. No rips so far..
I thought that this could be a soundtrackfor each episode, like then japanese did in the 90ts for those cyberpunk anime OVA. I download the series on porpouse with the japanese soundtrackā¦and there is a lot of music missing on the first episode.
I did manage to get other information about itā¦.
the 23 tracks ost is the UK versionā¦.
where is the information about the JAPANESE VERSION?
Sometimes we have soundtracks of games that come out more late.
It had happened with me
Sometimes we must find the truth by ourselves.
Maybe someone hadnāt checked the reality, so made this mistake.
Now we realized it.
I also have Spring and Chaos.ogm
Demon City Shinjuku .. I must have had as something, as Iāve ripped itās three parts into three separate.mp3s⦠guess it must have been .mkv or something to make them .mp3 right off.
Just found somewhere to get Battle Arena Toshiden OAV 1+2 with Spanish subs⦠(not that I care, I just am stealing the audio) xD.
Gunsmith Cats 1-3.avi (when audio is stolen itās made .wav by default).
DNA Sights 999.9.avi (french dub or sub, forget which).
RG Veda 1+2.avi
even Curse of Yoma 1+2.avi (even though I have the OST now⦠so they seem questionable to keep)
and am downloading Dragon Century 1+2.avi ^^;;
and plan to download Battle Arena Toshinden 1+2.avi
Oh, anyone up for cutting apart and properly tagging the Tenchi Muyo! Movies .wavs? xD Iāve removed the voices to the best of my abilities⦠but havenāt gone further than that.
I have those alsoā¦. never got my hands on GENOCYBER TAPE.
I have the other kind of cyberpunk collection, with the same logo, but on the side. I think those we have are collectorās editions.

I got gunsmithcats on tape, but i also have in AVI that i downloaded for a friend of mine.
is there someone that can help rip these?
Just with some software doing that.
We know how to do it, but canāt make a description of detailed process.
Sorry for my bad English.

I know how to easily make .avi to .wav, .mp3 or other⦠thatās the simple part. I even know how to cut it apart (like for the different songs).
But what I would love to know, is if there is a better program than Audacityās vocal remover⦠for getting rid of vocals and background noises (ex: walking, shooting, fighting⦠etc.)
If the source includes two more individual Channel, then itās possible to separate the sound you want.
Like some old video format "mpg" or "mpeg", usually has right and left Channel with different languages or sounds.
So there is still not any software which can handle this situation well.
