Neato, sounds like Hisaishi at 1:30 in the first track. As for the second track, they really should have made each track into their own suites. I wonder what the limitation was there.

Chrono Trigger kickass!

Few sample tracks glued together – that’s what I think about medley. So yes, I don’t like it. And one more thing – they really took an orchestra to record 6 minutes of music? Or maybe it is just a prelude to something bigger for example… Chrono Trigger Orchestra Arrange? Yeah, dreaming is a good thing;).

they really took an orchestra to record 6 minutes of music?

The Japanese approach to music releases is always confusing and you have to wonder if there is a positive return whenever something as trivial as this is released. Like American film score releases a lot of these pressings seem to rely on collector mentalities to make money where as long as it’s official it’ll sell like hotcakes.

Well, finally a quality recorded orchestra version of some chrono songs. Sounds almost as good as the VGM live chrono music I saw in seattle a while back.

a full orchestral soundtrack coming soon? would be sick if they do it.

There was always Chrono Symphonic (http://chrono.ocremix.org/), which was a pretty good fan remix project.
