Hello, folks. Have a question for you:

What decompression utility do you normally use on a 64-bit OS, and does it support non-Roman characters?

I’ve been trying to decompress various kinds of files (ZIPs, RARs, et cetera), and the contents contain files with non-Roman names, but they never come out right. Either the application errors, or the files are spat out with a bunch of random ASCII characters in their names.

To get more specific, I use XP x64. I’ve tried WinRAR, 7-Zip and WinACE. Of course, they’re all x86 versions and I don’t know if that has something to do with my problems.

Any advice?
