I can’t think of a Mario game that I like 100%. There are parts of every one that I’ve played that are in the range of okay (2 and early parts of 3) to great (RPG and 64 up til the first key), certainly.
I’ve only really completed the sonic games on Game Gear (I never had a Genesis or any other Sega console), and I’d have to say Sonic Pinball was the only one that kept me coming back for more.

I voted Mario simply because Super Mario All Stars on the SNES is what introduced me to the wonderful world of video games.
Never had much time for any system Sega released.

As far as the classic Mario and Sonic games go, I rate them the same. Then again, I had both a SNES and a Genesis back then, so I got the best of both worlds.
