If the world had BGM…

O.k. fellow Shriners, it’s time we sat and thought about ourselves and the music we listen to 🙂

Imagine a world where BGM music was the norm, and you yourself had a personal theme.

What would it sound like? How do you feel it reflects your persona/moods/temperament?

I’ll start, being this is a fairly hard question to answer, I would go with a soft orchestral piece much like ‘The Mystic Forest’ by Nobuo Uematsu on the Grand Finale album.

My reason for this was based on a what a few friends described me as:
‘Quite, but leaves a profound impression on you’
This is what I feel from the style of this piece.

Well if the world had a BGM i’m stuck between ‘Leftover Dreams of the Strong" from XenoGears. It was the theme for Bart Fatima. And the other one is One Winged Angel. It sound so miserable, strong, and post apocalyptic. It’s the perfect theme for a dying world.

It would be impossible to sneak up on anyone since suspenseful music would always start up giving you away.

In the early 90’s, it was probably the battle theme from FFVII, i was fighting so gawd damn much

My personal theme music would probably be arc’s theme from arc the lad, with brand new days(instrumental)from persona 3:FES for my normal days.

The battle theme from Enchanted Arms, just to see how long I could go before someone shot me.

The Mako City theme at the moment lol. It has just been a really difficult semester, not challenging unfortunately, just plain ridiculously difficult.

The Gold Saucer theme from FF7 would play.

definitly a ninja gaiden theme from #3(nes) either act 4 stage 1 or act 4 stage 2

funny question, would be quite cluttered with music if all people have a main theme.
My theme would probably be like some speed metal song a la dragonforce followed by the first part of Shine on You Crazy Diamond, because i’m always being very quiet or very overly active.

Definitely would be Maple Leaf Rag for me. I would need a song that could keep me in high spirits all the time, and make everything 10% sillier.

Quite honestly, if it DESCRIBED me, it would be the Trance Mission BGM from Rez. Oh, god damn, I’d shoot myself in 10 seconds if that was my BGM… My infinitely looping BGM!

But if I wanted it, like what I would like, basically, The World Ends With You Shuffled (minus all of the sad songs, like Despair and all that), or a whole bunch of 8-bit era music, like Shin Onigashima, and Kid Icarus, and Mario and Balloon Fighter and the like. And just about every song from Kingdom Hearts 2.
