Stargate Atlantis cancelled, Stargate Universe a-go-go

My brother is a huge fan, and he told me about this (like I care! xD). But he said that it really doesn’t matter, as the show was starting to decline.

This sucks…. they already canceled SG-1… Let all Stargate fans hope for Universe!

This is shocking news, i really liked Atlantis.

In a way I am pleased because lately SG-Atlantis has been stuffed to the brim with fillers and the actual episodes that are engaging often suffer strongly from logic holes. Some of their decisions are just plain naive at times. Then again SG isn’t on a more technical and mature level like BSG (Aside from the religious aspect).

I have a feeling Universe will suck. I have low expectations for it.

SG-1 was much more mature and technical so than Atlantis. Especially at the beginning of the series. Atlantis seemed, at first, just an attempt to try and get the younger audience but got a bit away from that later on I suppose…

Some people I know aren’t happy about the news, they are big fans of the show.

Just imagine this time next year no more Atlantis, no more BSG, No Doctor Who until 2010. They will have none of the shows that made SCIFI the network it is today.

yea my brother is a big sci fi fan so he’s pretty mad about all the Stargates getting cancelled. i’d watch them every now and then, and they were ok.

at least alot better then some of the other crap thats on TV
