Something melancholy

Hello I have been here a while yet I have never really posted. I love the whole idea of people sharing music and also discovering new stuff.

I was wondering if anybody had any albums or names of composers who create very beautiful instrumental game/movie music. Something similar to maybe Jeremy Soule or the Jin-Roh movie. There is a certain track on Jin-Roh entitled ‘Latest Flame’ which I consider one of the most beautiful pieces of music ever made. If anyone can recommend me something similar I would be eternally grateful.

I’ve made a compilation of some sad/melancholic tracks, from soundtracks i have.
Compared to "Latest Flame", some tracks are similar in tone and some others not, but obviously there are more tracks out there to explore, so i’ll leave that to other members, if they want.
I suggest you to start a thread like this one (Thread 57893), but for specific sad/melancholic music. You could get more suggestions in this way.
