I have a few questions about the Music for the Game called Mario Hoops 3-on-3 for the DS that I found on the GH:

First: Why in the Song "02 character select.mp3" Do the Singers in the Background say "My Hero"? I’ve listened closely to the game, and the Singers say "Mario"! And where’s Mario’s Voice in the Background?

Second: What’s this Song Called "18_malboro_garden.mp3"? Sounds like a new Version of Daisy Garden to me. And isn’t Malboro a (Forgive Me for saying this on the Forum, as I know Kids use this Forum too) Tobacco Company!?

Sorry about the Second Question… For one thing I couldn’t find that Tune in the game. Not to mention the Title doesn’t sound like something Nintendo would use… My apologies if either question is offensive…

1.) OST-Release is different to what in the actual game is played. The OST is Japanese, so the background singers sing it in Engrish. And Mario’s voice is not in it there, most likely.

2.) The name "Marlboro Garden" is just fine, since its a course you can unlock in the actual game. The name "Marlboro" derives from a vicious plant enemy in Final Fantasy, and instead of Petey Piranhas those are the "baskets". And yes, it’s a remixed version of Daisy Garden.

Of course Marlboros aren’t used in Nintendo games, but Mario Hoops is developed by Square-Enix, hence the Final Fantasy characters and stages.

Oh… Oops… Sorry…

I didn’t know about that Final Fantasy Enemy…

I also didn’t know the Music was from the Japanese version…

I guess we learn something new each day.

Oh! And as long as we’re talking about that Stage… How do you Unlock it?

Yanno, when I first read that thread title, I thought it was gonna be about the game’s names… since it has like… another name in each country.

As for Marlboro Garden… you have to score 3 dunks on Daisy’s Garden in Tournament mode (Flower Cup? Not too sure ’bout that now) while the Peteys are sleeping… then there’ll be some item panel containing a blue seed… if you get that, you’ll have Marlboro Garden unlocked.
