A few months ago, I started a YouTube channel that’s devoted solely to video game music and began making short compilations of soundtracks playing to gameplay footage. These days, the channel has over 300 videos and is nearing the 1000 subscriber mark.

Galbadia Hotel and these forums were a great help to me in taking on this project, so I figured that once I had a decent footing, I would post a topic about it here. I’d hate for this to come off as shameless publicity, as I’m just one dude with a YouTube account and a love for video game music, and I thought that I’d find some like-minded people here.

I began with several NES classics, and have since moved on generationally to 16-bit consoles. A new video is posted every day, from the classic to the obscure, so come check it out if you’re a fan of game music. You’ll probably find some of your favorites, but chances are you’ll discover something new as well.

Like I said, don’t take this post as a ‘hay guyz com c my site’, as my only intention is to give something back to this community. I probably lurk here more than I should, so instead of giving up download links or something like that, I’m offering something a little different. I hope you come take and look and enjoy browsing around.

If you want to check it out, click the link in my sig. Peace!

Heh, thanks. When you say 64 games, do you mean C64 or N64? I’ll definitely be featuring Nintendo 64 games, but the other, not so sure.

Heh, thanks for the comments, and cool to see some of you guys subscribed as well. 1200 subs in about 4 months, I guess I must be doing something right. Anyway, if anybody has recommendations or suggestions for titles I haven’t covered yet, they would be greatly appreciated.

I’m slowly moving towards the 32-bit era, so if you see any glaring omissions that warrant a video, feel free to contact me either here or on the ‘Tube. Peace!
