Question about PS3 ISO’s?

Are the game files of the PS3 iso’s encrypted, because i just dumped a PS3 game which is 17GB big and when i go play the bluray video files on the ISO it says it cannot play it, Also to extract the music?

They may be. If you’re looking to grab individual files for picking apart, you may find it worth your while simply to download said ISO. Whatever release groups are out there are unlikely to share any "trade secrets."

I’m afraid I can be of no help, there. I don’t know anything about ripping audio from PS3 games… if I did, I’d have ripped Ninja Gaiden Sigma myself. :/

Hi dude, I’ve been wondering — how big is the music file from "The Darkness"? I whipped up a small extractor for the xwc files from Riddick a few years ago, which I think I should still have around somewhere, so if you provided me with it, I might give it a try (provided the file structure hasn’t changed and that internally, they still use ogg files).

Let’s scratch that. After a brief look, I couldn’t make anything out of that file, so I suppose the structure has changed considerably. Too bad… 🙁

Yeah its encrypted. All PS3 files are like that.
