Some say it is the Akira theme from VF remixed, is this true?

From what I can tell it, it is true as they sound both sound very familiar. Since the comments say that the song is entitled, "Ride the Tiger", I would start the search with the Virtua Fighter 2 soundtracks. Well, that’s assuming you haven’t figured this all out by now.

DEFINATELY not virtua fighter 1 and 2 and 3. might be 4 or 5 though

Well, I finally got the "Virtua Fighter & Virtua Fighter 2 Music Tracks" album and I can confirm it’s probably not on that album, though the "Ride the Tiger" track on disc 2 comes very close. I doubt it’s on the soundtrack for the 4th game since that game’s music went a little downhill. I’ll let you know if I find it after listening to all the soundtracks, but I don’t think it’s on any of the official soundtracks.

It’s not a virtua fighter song at all, I’ve listened to it so many times, they have the idea of it, but asian people do songs like this a lot, if you watch Stephen Chows movies, or some other japanese movies.
