I messed up I think….Help if you have a solution

I started playing FFXII and didn’t really bother to read anything, and early on I acquired a ton of license points, and filled up the board for one character, later on I found out about quickenings and summonings, when I wasn’t getting them. And I can’t seem to use any of my summonings for my char, or any of his quickenings. I’m in the king bomb area and am in my 40’s.

Have you activated the licenses for the espers? They appear on the board each time you aquire a new one.

Yes, I unlocked the slots for the espers as well. Which didn’t seem to help out either lol….

You first have to activate your Quickenings, then activate your Summons on the License board before you can use them. That’s all I can tell you. You find Quickenings by exploring the license board of each character. Each of them has three.

Well The thing is I activated the espers for the ones I found. And with the quickenings, this is one mistake I made. Before I really knew about them. I activated the entire license board with Vaan. I used all 18 of those slots on him….Same with the ones for the espers. I didnt’ really know any better till later on, and am wondering how to fix it, if it can be. BEcause I can’t summon an esper, or use any quickenings.

I’m sure you cant activate every quickening node with one person. I haven’t played it in a while. But I’m sure that isn’t the case. This may be a silly question, but you do have full MP when you’re trying to do it right?

Lol yes, and I did. For Vaan all of them say one of his quickenings, 6 times lol. And I check to make sure I have a full mp thing, but I don’t even get mist charges. I check to see if I can summon from the mist option, and the names are there under vaan just like blacked out or grayed out. I know it sounds weird…..

You can’t get more than 3 quickenings for a character, it’s not possible, because all of the quickening nodes disappear from their individual licence board once they have acquired 3 quickenings.

Make sure you dont have some kind of status on you like Disable. Other than that there’s not much help I can give until you supply more detailed information.

You also might want to make sure that you don’t have anything equipped like the magicite that makes you have no mp.

Can Vaan use regualar magic like Cure and Fire? Is it only Vaan that has all of the board open enough to get to a Quickening node or an Esper node. One character can have all of the Espers but not all of the Quickenings. The board is communitive, if two people reach the same Quickening node than either one of them can activat it. Only the characters that can reach the node can activate it, though.
