They also say they don’t know how long it’ll take to get it to work on the 360. Looks like it might arrive in the west after the PS3 version unless the localisation takes a large amount of time.

I can only take what you’re saying as mock surprise, so forgive me if you’re genuinely are outraged. Well, it’s the 5th main Final Fantasy to appear on PC so it’s not as much of a big deal as it may seem to some.

Oh I guess I screwed up there. I assumed that IX was also on PC because it seemed as if it was going to be all the PS1-era FFs.

Square Enix has gone PC. On the first day of the show, the Japanese game publisher announced that Final Fantasy XIII is coming to PlayStation 3, Xbox 360 (in Europe and North America only) and PC.

And the other one says:

Japanese publisher Square Enix announced that their project Final Fantasy XIII is in development not only for the PlayStation 3 and Xbox 360 (Europe and US only), but for the PC as well. The first article doesn’t list any sources and the second lists the first article as its source. The quotes they are using are from the Q&A session that Kitase and Hashimoto held after Square Enix announced the 360 version of the game in which they revealed that the game was being developed on PC. If they have announced a PC version, no one seems to have picked up on it (beyond aforementioned unsourced articles, that is).

Yes, PS3 fanboys the game is going to the PC so is the 360’s The Last Remnant.
